The National 3 Peaks Challenge ⛰️ - one of the hardest but most rewarding experiences I have had 💪

Thank you @louis.getbetter @timmins.treks and @alexgarnetthogg for all the team effort, support, and for being outstanding people, couldn't have had a better team to do this with!

Shoutout to @ieuanrw and @_finch_147 for joining on the sunrise hike up Yr Wyddfa, and for providing very much needed snacks and caffeine 👌

Time to rest for a couple days, and then will start preparing for upcoming challenges - stay tuned 👀

Just some of the stuff i have been up to this year

In march i took on the yorkshire 3 peaks as the first of many new challenges with @helens_hobbies_

April was the national 3 peaks with the lads, we were lucky enough to have clear views and warm weather all day and even a perfsct sunrise on snowdon with @louis.getbetter @tiago.soaressilva_ @alexgarnetthogg @ieuanrw and @_finch_147

We managed to fit in a week of exploring the scottish highlands with the NC500 with some of the best people too @charley.outdoors @jasminehenryy @kxtie_h aswell as Helen, Lou and Harv aswell

I then headed back to the highlands to take on tranters round with tiago, one of the hardest challenges i have completed so far taking in over 20000ft of climbing in a single run

Next up was the Cumbrian way with tiago and @naomi__louise, 73 miles from Ulverston back to Carlisle over the fells, a long tough day but the weather stayed good and we finished within a day

I summited North Africas tallest mountain, Mount Toubkal in Morocco on my first solo trip and my first 4000m+ peak

Back in april we got a new member of the hiking community with Maple joining us on some adventures

Cant forget a trip to Bulgaria with the lads for a skiing trip with Jamie, Luke and Dec, plenty beer and enough pancakes to put a few kgs on by @tiago.soaressilva_

words cannot even explain how GRATEFUL I am to have such wonderful people in my life who I admire so much and care for so deeply 🌻🌷🦋🫶🏻

I am surrounded by SO many incredible and inspiring people daily from climbing sessions and hiking adventures, crafting evenings and silly side quests to summit sleeping and sunset picky bits, beach camps and quiet nights in, BBQ’s and so many more wonderful moments. I am truly blessed to know them 🌟

and I hope I’m all the parts of them that I love very much 💛 by @tiago.soaressilva_

- The Cumbria Way -

Almost 120km in a day - probably the hardest challenge I have ever put myself through, but one of the most rewarding experiences I have had. Despite the mental and physical pain (and how humbling it was), I am so glad to have gone through it all and finished this run, all the way from Ulverston to Carlisle.

Thank you @timmins.treks for being alongside me through this, and @naomi__louise for joining us for two legs of the run, and introducing us to the wonderful Julie. You guys smashed it!

A special thanks to @kxtie_h for waiting in the middle of the night in Keswick to give us our drop bags and some warm tea, whilst having the most caring and thoughtful energy. And to @jasminehenryy and @charley.outdoors for calling me when I was laying on a forest, 20km from the end, unsure if I could finish this, and giving me the energy and mental strength to complete this.

And to all my friends and family, who texted and voice messaged throughout the entire challenge, a huge thank you - without you I wouldn't have been able to do it.

My gear for this was:

Shoes - HOKA Speedgoat 6 @hoka_eu
Watch - Garmin Fenix 7X Pro Sapphire Solar @garminoutdoor
Running Vest - Montane Gecko VP 12L @montaneofficial
Poles - Blue OEX Duralumin @oexoutdoors
Socks - North Face trail running socks @thenorthfaceuk
Clothes and Headtorch- Decathlon @decathlonuk
Nutrition - Science in Sport and MyProtein @scienceinsport @myproteinpt
