Welp, that came and went too quickly. I had the absolute pleasure of spending the week with some rad people doing some sick shit that not many will have the opportunity to do. I am humbled at some clarity and vulnerability that was shown over the last few days that have grown my Grinch heart and I am truly grateful. Thank you to all of those that put your whole hearts and minds into making this a possibility for us. My organizational skills could never. Thank you to my new friends and family. I love yall and I will miss you until we meet again. Thank you for allowing me to be a little extra, quiet, vulnerable and sometimes just straight up sad girl with my constant stream of tears. You now know my biggest secretā€¦ I am but a big ass softy who will chase around a cat when given the opportunity, or make damn sure you are fucking seen for the dream you are. To ending yet another year where my pets are the most consistent entities in my life. We all need to do better. We all should be more like these creatures. āœŒšŸ½ by @tianasaurus_wr3cks
Guess whoā€™s backā€¦? Come find her @tope_pdx during brunch. This is a signature of mine that I love to hateā€¦. Prepping that is. Itā€™s messy but delicious. My own Horchata recipe @planterayrum 5Yr House Chai Bitters Sprinkle of fresh nutmeg by @tianasaurus_wr3cks
I waited a few days to write about my experience at Camp Runamok. Iā€™m not gonna lie, it was really fucking hard. I experienced things that were completely foreign to me. Got into more conflict than I have in many years combined. Saw and heard some truly enraging things that will stick with me for years. But I also saw some of the most beautiful relationships created. I got to meet some of the strongest bad bitches I have ever met. I got to meet and build relationships with people who look like me and are talented as fuck. That. Thatā€™s the one though. I have lived in Portland Oregon most of my life and have never had the ability to get to know people who look like me and that share the same profession. Weā€™ve always been pitted against each other or have even been mistaken for the same person often. The world has a lot of growing up to do. Iā€™ll never look at people the same way. I see people that Iā€™ve learned to love and then see their achievements and am humbled. We never know who each other truly are until we take a FUCKING moment to appreciate. We all need to grow up. Appreciate each other, support each other, lift each other up. I wonā€™t rest until this is the status quo. I know that I wasnā€™t the easiest to get along with. I challenged a lot of people. I started arguments. I most likely started conversations that no one wanted to have. I would do it again. Iā€™d do it again because I love people and Iā€™ll be damned if we disrespect each other. I love the moments we create together and it is damn hard to see us take advantage of one another. I love you all. Thank you to you who made the experience what it was for me, and most others around the camp. I will see you again. I promise. It has been my privilege. I specifically want to recognize my fuuuucking ladies @erin.gabriella @mobilebaratl @jasminethestarr @orisha.realness for being my absolute peace and tranquility. My reason for laughter. For making me feel included and important. I love you ladies. Our friendship is forever and for that, I am humbled. by @tianasaurus_wr3cks
The best big brother this little kitten could have received. She had a tough time getting here but now she has a good home forever. Good boys. by @tianasaurus_wr3cks
Flora Friends, while I have had the absolute pleasure being part of the newest addition of cocktail to Beaverton and hopefully up and coming scene, it is time for me to say goodbye. It has been such a learning and growing experience being the head of something that Iā€™ve truly been so proud of from start to finish especially with some of the recognition that we have recieved. I couldnā€™t have done it without all the love and support of you all. Iā€™m so excited to see how much Flora will grow at the hands of my very capable crew (@sherlocknomez and Juni) that I leave behind. Theyā€™re going to absolutely knock it out of the park and I canā€™t wait to come back as a patron and see what theyā€™ve done with the place. This end isnā€™t without a new beginning, as I am very fortunate and excited to be taking on a leading role for the @thehoxtonhotel in Downtown! Give me a little to shine her up a little šŸ˜‰. This isnā€™t goodbye but goodbye for now. You still have time to catch me behind the bar from today until next Thursday Oct. 5! Cheers! by @tianasaurus_wr3cks
