It’s scary out there: Uncle Fester says vote! by @tifyane
I’ve never known a time when my hair wasn’t a part of the conversation. Until now. As each lock was cut from my hair I became free. No fur, no fluff, no frills to hide imperfections. With strength has come vulnerability. I’ve leaned on my community and support system. I’ve allowed tears to flow freely, even when there are less of mine than I expected. My first bald birthday came and I was surrounded with love. The celebration continues through the month! Chemotherapy on my birthday was different but I’m grateful for the science that allows me to break free from the chains of cancer. It is not lost on me that #ovariancancerawarenessmonth and my birthday month coincide. In a couple weeks round 4 begins! In a world of heavy I feel light. Weightless. 20 photos isn’t enough to show the love, the postcards, handmade goods, messages, nourishment, staycations, phone calls, snail mail, gifts and time spent with my people over this continued journey. Enjoy these filter free moments documented with photos because AI could never. Thank you all for allowing to me see another year of love and grace and strength. 📸 by @tifyane
Hugo is 10! The puppy who found us 10 years ago at the dumpster has grown into the most special boy. We celebrated his birthday on the lake with his first ever golf cart ride, ice cream and cookie bones. This dog, my friends, is the special dog who will get me through cancer ✨ Happy Birthday, boy!! by @tifyane
Summertime adventures in July look a little different. From the operating table, to chemotherapy fusions, to the little moments, to the oncologist appointments, to the big moments, to my first concert and movie since the diagnosis, to lots of time in the bed and at home: it’s all been a whirlwind as I adjust to my new reality as a stage 3 ovarian cancer patient. Life doesn’t stop but it definitely slows down. You are reminded of who loves you even when you don’t look or feel your best. They slow down with you. Every single conversation, text message, donation, meal, DM, ride, token of kindness means the world. Pictures and words can never tell the whole story of my amazing community and how they’ve rallied behind me. I quite literally take each day at a time with the present being my favorite place to be despite it all. July was a gift despite the diagnosis. Everyday I have the opportunity to fight is also a gift. ☀️ by @tifyane
Life is a funny thing. One moment you’re chasing your dreams, the next you’re just trying to stay alive. While the country celebrated 250 years I watched fireworks from my hospital bed with my bestfriends I’ve had since high school. I must say, our view was spectacular from the edge of the peninsula at Roper St. Francis Hospital. I have been diagnosed with a rare germ cell ovarian cancer, beautiful friends. My right ovary was over taken by a massive tumor and another large cyst was removed from my left ovary. My left ovary remains intact however so do some of the cancer cells even after the removal of the cyst and the tumor. In the coming weeks I will begin chemotherapy to eradicate what remains of the cancer. I am confident I will come out on the other side of this cancer-free as I have a strong support system, excellent team of doctors behind me and modern medicine is a wonder. What can you do, you ask? Live your life to the fullest, advocate for your health, advocate for those who cannot advocate for themselves and be kind to everyone: you never know what someone is battling behind closed doors. I’m grateful to know you all and I’m grateful for the love and support from my family and friends in this life. Take care of each other. 💛 Tifyane by @tifyane
Spring near and far with friends and life companions. We’d be lying if we didn’t tell you Europe is still on our mind while we sweat out the beginnings of another Lowcountry Summer. by @tifyane
Happy Birthday to my wonderful husband! For 20 years I’ve had the pleasure of knowing this human. If you know our story you’ll know we got suspended in high school together after we befriended each other in middle school. Let’s just say we were incredibly close. We double dated to prom together and took trips to theme parks with our fellow significant others. We had no idea we would eventually build a life together. This life is a sweet one. Through Covid, broken bones, surgeries, deaths in the family and everything else life can throw he’s remained the most steady companion. We’ve had plane rides turn into train rides and plane rides that we barely made! Josh drive us around in Central America when he’s still learning how to read the signs. Our big adventure to Europe this year was a reminder of how easy life can be with this man. He’s dependable and constantly keeps me laughing. Surprising me comes easy for Josh even when I think I have him figured out. He cooks and eats things that he never would have thought about 2 decades ago. He’s the best at preparing us for any adventure. Even the adventure that is home ownership! We’ve had the pleasure of working together in this wild food and beverage industry as I’ve watched him grow his own business as an entrepreneur. He believes in me and any ship I decide to steer no matter how rough the waters may seem. This man’s quiet strength grounds me like nothing else. In the evenings before bed Josh can sometimes be found fiddling around on the piano, guitar or keyboard. This love is simply music to my ears. He’ll even assist me with running lines for shows. What a patient talented man. Thanks to my awesome life partner for bringing home Hugo and giving us a joy so sweet. As Josh gets another year older I cannot wait to see what the next 20 years hold as he grows and evolves into the bestfriend of a lifetime. Happy Birthday to my ride or die. by @tifyane
Cheesing hard at my fourth FAB! What an honor to be a part of the Welton’s Tiny Bakeshop team that gifted us this opportunity. I get to work with the baddest babes: and yes, we’re all morning people! Another amazing year of connecting and learning from amazing women in this wild wild industry. Thankful and forever taking selfie/usie photos… these aren’t even all of them! Oh and in the end we danced our hearts out. by @tifyane

Fresh faced in France 🇫🇷 by @tifyane
Joyeuse Journée de la Terre 🇫🇷 Wandering the streets of Paris you’ll find beauty around every corner. Mother Nature showing off and greeting you with a fragrance unlike any other. Combined with the smells of bread and fresh coffee the blossoms are a heavenly aroma. Happy Earth Day, friends. by @tifyane
