whimsical residency activities
TIKLA in June by @tiklarka

when i began planning the residency, the question of what materials we were going to use was honestly a big mystery. i knew we wanted to work with installations and we also didn't have much time overall so we had to adapt.

it was a big leap of faith if we would actually manage to create finished pieces with old fabrics, wood, metal and any other scrapes lingering around... and we did!

and it was all thanks to Vasilka and Marko (the main stars of TIKLA) who provided us with raw wool from the neighbours in Shiroka laka (slide 3), fabrics and anything the artists needed.

the best part was breathing life back in those objects that were once useful

the arist's work is to intervene
