👉 SWIPE LEFT for the full pano! - We scrambled off trail and straight up a gnarly incline through dense alpine scrub for nearly 3 hours to get to this spot but holy balls was that view worth every bit of sheep poo I stepped in on the way up. About 20 minutes after we hit the summit a chopper touched down and a guy jumped out and proposed to his girlfriend which was awesome / a kick in the guts after @am.bam.lee and I had busted our nuts tackling the climb on foot but a freaking beautiful moment none the less. We still got to watch the sunset alone on the peak though which was exactly what I’d planned on the way to Wanaka. This shot was created during that last little moment before the sun dipped below the mountain line - standing on top of the fricken world. How good is living! 🙌🏻

I still haven't topped this image out in the water to this day, but I have the hunger to.. Maybe I should just go isolate out in the ocean until I come in with something better..? There's something fulfilling about competing against yourself. 🔱

Team @saltwatermedia.co feat. guest legendface @trentmitchellphoto - one of the greats of Australian photography 🙌🏻 Absolute honour to work with this bunch of sickos (including @scottybauer_ & @binnstagram) on our latest mission beyond the horizon 🗺️ by @timcampbellphoto

We’ve spent the last week exploring what is arguably the most remote location in Australia - Scott Reef. I can say without question this is the most pristine marine environment I’ve ever seen, both above and below the water. We saw shades of blue that I never knew existed in nature, and I’ve spent my whole life on the ocean. This place is teeming with sea life everywhere you look - coral gardens with psychedelic colour palettes buzzing with dense communities of reef fish and pelagic species schooling through the depths every time you head out into the blue-water, it just doesn’t stop.

WOODSIDE want to install 57 toxic wells around and beneath Scott Reef to access the Browse gas field, industrialising this entire zone and bringing decades of deafening underwater noise and catastrophic oil-spill risk.

This cannot happen, this place is FAR too precious. Australians deserve to have places like this protected from development so they can one day visit and experience first hand what true, untouched natural beauty looks like.

A decision on Woodside’s drilling plans is expected in the coming months - it’s time to stop Woodside and save Scott Reef once and for all.

Follow @surfersforclimate and @greenpeaceap to stay updated and find out how you too can play a part in protecting this place.

To think that we have all this in our backyard and most people choose to stay above the surface.. All it takes is a single breath 🫁

Literally floated around out here for 6 hours on Friday waiting for a very particular animal to pass by but came home empty handed 🥲 You win some you lose some, but you've gotta be in it to win it that's for sure. No complaints though, just chilling with the engine switched off, listening the distant surf and having convos with me mate Albert Ross when he periodically landed beside me was a fine way to end the week 👌🏻 by @timcampbellphoto

Today some vlogger asked me "What does it mean to be human?" I think this is a pretty good answer..

Wilyabrup Cliffs never fail to impress 🤯

Try abseiling or climbing with the experts at @margaretriverclimbingco - local Mick Dempsey runs exhilarating but beginner-friendly sessions right on the cliffs.

Starting at the bottom, you’ll climb four routes on the wall, then hike up and abseil down - once, twice, maybe three times if you’re keen. 👀

Please note: the conditions can be dangerous, especially with strong winds. Always go with a qualified guide and stay well back from edges for safety.

The ocean was well and truly alive today. We couldn't do much with it apart from drive around and ogle at the energy on display, but hey that's fine by me!
