Guess who’s now fully certified in Non-Profit Leadership & Management at Lagos Business School? 💃💃💃

Nine weeks ago, I embarked on this training journey and it has stretched me in more ways than I could have imagined! 😩

From juggling intensive LBS classes, to attending medical school lectures, managing a training class at the Redeemed Christian Fellowship, and still leading an incredible team at U-recycle Initiative Africa… I can only thank God for the strength to go through and grow through this season.🥹🙏

Beyond the detailed, high-impact lectures I received at Lagos Business School, I’m deeply grateful for the meaningful connections I’ve made. I had the privilege of shaking hands with high-value changemakers across various sectors in the social impact space. Individuals like: @orifunkelawal @iamthedella @omoyemiadeayo @ib_henshaw & so many more people!!

A massive thank you to U-recycle Initiative Africa @urecycle_initiative and the Global Environment Facility (GEF) for this opportunity. Your generous sponsorship made this learning experience possible.

So what’s next?
More growth. More learning. Even with the certificate in hand, I’m heading back to the lecture room- this time to re-watch and extract practical action points I can implement across the organizations I lead.😌

This is not the end. Far from it.

We are just getting started. 🚀 by @timmyabioye

The time is here! ✨

The time to blow the cap off limitations.

The time for a shift in mindset.

The time for our minds to be illuminated by God's truth. The time to see POSSIBILITIES! 💡

Teenagers, God has a word for you. He wants to open your eyes to who He has called you to be and show you what is possible with Him.

There is so much more in God. There is so much more to discover. There is so much more to become. Because God has placed so much inside of you.

This is more than another conference. It's a moment of encounter. A moment of transformation. A moment that could change the way you see your life forever.

Workers... Come and be filled. ❤️ by @timmyabioye

After spending 6 years, in U-recycle @urecycle_initiative , it is with a heavy heart- but one filled with gratitude- that I announce that I stepped down in my role as the Director of Communications and Marketing earlier this year.

This was not an easy decision, especially because of how deeply connected I am to this organization.

My journey began in 2017 through The Neo Child Initiative (TNCI), where I met the phenomenal Oluwaseyi Jesuton—who would go on to found U-recycle in 2018. By January 2020, she trusted me with a role that grew from Secretary to Content & Communications Manager, and eventually to Director of Communications and Marketing. ❤️

If I could summarize my time here in one word, it would be growth. U-recycle shaped me—both in character and skill—and gave me opportunities like attending Lagos Business School and other non-profit trainings.😊

I joined as a boy, naive about life and structure. I leave as a man—refined by experience and equipped for what lies ahead.

I met incredible people @deboladejikurunmi @phenomenal_toyin @mayokun_iyaomo @paulayomide_official @fathiabello_ @mifeakinmola @draishatoduye @nifemidahunsi @theemmanuelfaith @iamthedella @aramidekayode_ @thequeenlase @becomingaffy at U-recycle, and built connections that will last a lifetime. Truly, U-recycle was a bridge to limitless minds.🥹

There were highs and lows, wins and challenges—but every moment made me better. One of my highlight moments was receiving a certificate of appreciation in 2025—a truly humbling, full-circle experience.❤️

Thank you, Oluwaseyi @oluwaseyi_jesuton , for believing in me. Thank you for your patience with me and for being understanding during certain seasons. I do not take it for granted at all.

Thank you, ma DDK @deboladejikurunmi , for all the lessons you helped us learn as an organization and also individually. I am eternally grateful to you, ma.

To my amazing Communications team and all the volunteers—thank you for your diligence and commitment.

They say that the journey of a thousand miles begins with a step. U-recycle was that step for me. I look forward to applying the lessons I’ve learned here in other endeavors of my life. ❤️ by @timmyabioye
