I can never get enough of the outside shots, probably won’t get anymore now with the layout put together but who knows. This amazing shot was captured by my wife @dawntodusk_tasmania we waited for an overcast day especially to capture this look and feel. #hoscale #hoscalephotography #scalemodels #scalemodelling #scalemodelphotography #hoscalemodelrailroad #hoscaletrains #weathered #weatheredmodels #weatheredmodeltrains #walthers #waltherscornerstone #woodlandscenics #madeitwithwoodlandscenics #martinwelbergscenicstudios #nationalmodelrailroadassociation #naturallightphotography #modeltrainsofinstagram #modeltrains #modelrailroading #modelrailroader #modelrailroadermagazine #modelrailroadingphotography #modelrailroadingisfun #greatesthobbyintheworld #midwestmodelrailroad by @tims_trains

This flatcar steel plate load has been received very well so a nice slow pass in natural light to show all the good things about it.

And patience 😂

Steel plate load for the TTX flatcar. Evergreen styrene used for the plate and painted appropriately with slight rust.

The challenging part was trying to replicate the steel load resistant. I found numerous examples of real flatcars with this design of resistant, it certainly tested me.

Very happy how it turned out. Thanks for looking

Fox valley models 60’ Flatcar TTX. I missed out on these when they were first released but I have finally got my hands on them. I plan on adding loads but I am happy how the deck came out it would almost be a shame to cover it up. Acrylic and Enamel paints used for the weathering work

Running some unweathered stock on the layout

Exactrail Evolution FMC 5277 combo door boxcar - Railbox. This wagon has been weathered to look like so many prototypes that I found but with my own spin on it. Acrylic and Enamel paints used. Trying something different for the reflection shot of the new and old.
