That’s the very bright Hunter’s Moon tonight over Chicago right next to the Planetarium and the Chicago flag! Spooky for Halloween 🎃 Native Americans in Chicago did call this moon “the hunting moon” and they hunted for the rough winter ahead guided by this very bright light of moon! Strong survivor energy with this moon. Take it in! 🌕 #chicago #huntersmoon #chicagopd #halloweenfullmoon by @tinaissa

This amazingly beautiful bird the great blue herrron in Jackson Park not only hopped closer to meso I can take a pic it also flew with me as I walked away and then landed where I went. Listen I’ll take that very fortunate sign and omen. Loved this so much. #chicago chicagopd #chicagojacksonpark #greatblueheron by @tinaissa

Through some thin clouds the full Harvest Moon shines through. ✨🌟The lore of this full moon in Native American traditions was a signal to prepare for winter and celebrate the crops —but also the gift of light came with this moon as it is very bright and large in the sky which gave more time to harvest. 🌕🍂🍁. This moon does have a strong energy which is a nice opener for HALLOWEEN SEASON 🧡🖤🧡🎃👻 and is my favorite! #harvestmoon #chicago #chicagopd #chicagohalloween by @tinaissa

Today in my way home I saw these clouds wrapped around the skyline. It was majestic to see. Beautiful! 🤩 #chicago #chicagopd #chicagoskyline #johnhancockchicago 🏙️ by @tinaissa

Happy Labor Day! Tonight in Chicago it’s all red white and blue —stunning view of Michigan Ave at Wacker.

Labor rights are Chicago!

Chicago workers were largely responsible the movement that gave Americans an 8-hour day, weekends, overtime protections, & modern labor rights #chicago #chicagolaborday #chicagopd #laborrights by @tinaissa

There it is the Sturgeon moon! Appropriate to be taken over Lake Michigan in Chicago because Native Americans marked the sturgeon moon at the time for turn in season but also abundance in these fish IN THE GREAT LAKES. A beautiful end of summer🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌕

Walking down the street with friends and see this! A WILDbright orange crescent moon so low to the horizon you can barely see it. It just caught our eye. So perfectly shaped. #chicagomoon #chicagopd #chicagosummer by @tinaissa
