18 years ago, on October 21st, you changed my life forever and gave me my very first title… MOMMY! I was scared and figuring it all out, but look at us, kiddo… WE MADE IT! We grew up together, and while I was teaching you about life, you were teaching me how to be a mommy. Gianna, I am SO proud of the young woman you’re becoming! Your beautiful heart, witty personality, quick comebacks, and OMG… THAT LAUGH! Never stop being authentically YOU! Keep shining, chasing your dreams, and NEVER dim your light. As you step into adulthood, always remember that no matter how old you get, you’ll ALWAYS have a home in me. I’ll forever be your biggest cheerleader, your safe place, and your #1 fan! And don’t get it twisted… 18 or not, you’ll ALWAYS be Mommy’s baby! I LOVE YOU DEEP, MY GIRL! 18 years of loving you and a lifetime more to go! HAPPY 18TH BIRTHDAY to my firstborn, my first baby girl, my Gianna Corinne! by @tinaluvsyou

After spending time at Newark Tech, I’m excited to officially announce that I’ll be transferring to West Orange High School for my next chapter. This decision means a lot to me because I’m getting the chance to come back home to where everything started. West Orange is where my journey began, so being able to return and continue growing here makes this even more special. I want to give a huge thank you to Coach Johnson for everything he has done for me at Newark Tech. Thank you for always pushing me to work harder, believing in me, and helping me become a better player. I learned a lot during my time there, and I’ll always be grateful for the memories, lessons, practices, and games. Even though I’m moving on to something new, I’ll never forget the impact you had on me. Leaving Newark Tech is definitely bittersweet because I made memories and met people who became a part of my journey. But sometimes you have to take a new path and trust what’s next. Now I’m ready to return to West Orange, where everything started, and write a new chapter. I’m coming in ready to work, learn, compete, and give everything I have to my team. New school. New chapter. Same goals. Back home. Back where it all started. Thank you Newark Tech for everything. Thank you Coach Johnson for believing in me. And thank you to everyone who has supported me through this journey. West Orange, I’m coming home. by @tinaluvsyou
