⛲️SANSKRIT & MANTRAS LAB with Tina Zymaraki starts November 7th, at 12:30pm to 14:30pm🧡Participation is really warm(🙏🏼). For our organization please register until the first days of November🔥OPEN TO ALL🌺With Tina’s words: Mantra & The Alphabet of Consciousness: an inexhaustible source of inspiration within the study of yoga. In this living tradition—where knowledge meets practice—sound becomes a path toward the deeper inner landscape. The mind becomes focused and unified, the heart returns to wholeness, and consciousness expands👁️A series of workshops for those who wish to approach yoga from its core—through sound, vibration, and the inner intelligence that awakens when we work with mantras🔔We will encounter the sounds of Sanskrit as living vibrations, explore powerful mantras, and discover how correct pronunciation transforms the mind, clarifies our attention, and establishes a sense of calm within the nervous system. The study of the Sanskrit language and a systematic approach to mantras offer an entry point that is both simple and profound.
🧡As a Sanskritist, scholar of Indian philosophy, and yoga teacher with 26 years of experience, Tina focus on conveying the philosophical roots of yoga in an experiential, contemplative, and accessible way. She has studied Indian texts—such as the Yoga Sūtra, the Bhagavad Gītā, and various Upanishads—extensively under the guidance of renowned scholars, swamis, and professors. Since 2008, she has been teaching Indian philosophy, Sanskrit, and Vedic chanting within yoga teacher training programs. Every year, she travels to India as a yoga practitioner and a student of Advaita Vedānta, following the tradition of Swami Dayananda Saraswati🌺First dates: November 7th, December 5th at 12:30pm🧡 Super lazy in social media this period, please mail us and be patient for our answer🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼 Always at Ashtanga Yoga Athens 2002🤍

I asked ch*tgpt to revise my Bio, only to get a revelatory insight into how we don't See ourSelves: "What’s missing that’s worth including:

✅ Years of experience and global exposure
→ You’ve taught for over 25 years, with study and practice in India, the U.S., and Europe. That’s worth a line—not as name-dropping, but as contextual richness.

✅ Depth in Sanskrit and textual study
→ You're not just “a student of philosophy” but someone who’s done serious Sanskrit training with well-regarded scholars (Kazanas, Bryant, Birch, Sriramaiah etc.)—this distinguishes you significantly.

✅ Post-lineage and trauma-informed approach
→ The fact that you’re grounded in tradition but work with a contemporary, therapeutic model is important, especially in training contexts.

✅ Teacher of teachers
→ You've trained, assisted, or taught in multiple teacher trainings and designed full curricula. That’s more than “has taught TTC since 2008.”

✅ Volunteer and activist contributions
→ Not just participation, but initiation and leadership in pioneering projects (e.g. YogastoAlsos, Thebes Prison, Arsis, Alma Zois, Merimna). These aren’t just “extras”—they signal ethos.

✅ Integration of Indian philosophy with Western anatomy
→ This synthesis is at the heart of your method and should be expressed simply but clearly." by @tinamyzym

February 2026 🔥Mantra sādhana 🔥Waking at 4:30 each morning was effortless, with homa, the sacred fire ritual, and Vedic chanting waiting in the dark. Pictured are a few moments shared with the pundit's permission, and selfies with my chanting companions. It was a treat and an honour, and by far my favourite part of the day.

Amma’s Jasmine Garden, February 2026 🌸 After temple each day, we gathered and walked three kilometers beside still backwaters, to pick jasmine for her. Palms stood in silhouette, egrets drifted low over the water, and the sky softened into misty sunrise. Some mornings were thick with conversation, others with silence, all with bonding and a common path.

Over three weeks, something in me opened the way the buds did, quietly and without effort, a little more each dawn. Those hours among blossoms and birdsong laid the foundation for everything the days would become, and for the blossoming that was unfolding within 🪷 by @tinamyzym

February 2026, South India
Word came that Ammachi was at her ashram, teaching. My plans to travel to the southernmost tip of the country dissolved and I went directly to Amritapuri.

Ammachi is a spiritual leader and humanitarian, revered by millions as a living saint, an embodiment of the Divine Mother. In New York, around 2003, I received her darshan and a mantra. More than two decades later, to stand again in her presence was a profound homecoming.

The days had a simple rhythm: daily meditation, hours of devotional singing, and darshan, a blessing and an embrace offered to us every three days. Mornings began with chanting, followed by seva, voluntary service. Time seemed to loosen its grip. It was effortless to stay, and the days flew by.

I had set out to reach the end of the map. Instead I found that the real destination was a place the heart already knew. by @tinamyzym

February 17, 2026 After a couple of days of conventional tourist stuff, finally enjoyed the fantastic Machattu Mamangam festival at the Thiruvanikkavu Bhagavathi Temple. It was dusty and crowded and colourful and a bit wild and improbably impactful 🙏🏻💐

Accustomed to the traditions and norms of the north, these south Indian processions were something new and pretty fantastic, as were the snacks and locals! by @tinamyzym

Tamil Nadu -> Kerala, February 2026.

After the completion of the course at Arsha Vidya Gurukulam in Coimbatore, I had some free time. It just so happened that a group from Greece was visiting the region those very days and I arranged to meet up with them! We spent a couple of days together sightseeing.

One thing that struck me when I first saw all that lush green scenery and soft backwater landscape was this phrase, “God’s country”. I later found out that is in fact the state tagline!

2026 saw my first experience of Shivaratri in India. Despite many and wonderful options for the "Great Night of Shiva", the easy and resounding YES was to spend it at Arsha Vidya Gurukulam. It is a sister ashram of the one in Rishikesh, so even though everything was unfamiliar there was a Common Thread that allowed me to feel at home instantly.

First impression: I've arrived in some kind of quiet paradise, with deer and peacocks and amazing nature and sacred temples and even a very vocal and spoiled temple kitty*, in addition to powerful sādhana with powerful chanting and liberating Vedanta and deep Sanskrit study with fellow seekers from all over with this common bond of lineage and love.

* you can check out previous and upcoming posts for some of those moments
