Just a cozy girlie🩷🎀🛌
I saw the video I saved of @crazy_hamster_lady_ where you can see the little hammy in their burrow and remembered the week straight where I had the joy of watching Piper sleep in her burrow🥰
Since cleaning out her enclosure I saw yesterday that she’s moved back into this same spot! Maybe I’ll be able to find her like this again😊🤞💗

Pippa is having some more outdoor time today since the rain has decided to stop for a few hours🥰
The plan is for her to have a few hours outside everyday but when it’s pouring with rain it’s not much fun for them. And not a whole lot of shelter out here.

Has made me think about adding more shelter out here but I’m not sure what yet!

It’s Pippa’s turn in the bunny garden this morning💛

Because she hates being picked up so much I’ve resorted to using the travel carrier instead. I put it down and she hops right in. It makes the moving around a lot less stressful for us both.

As you can see she had a lovely time😊
She’s desperate to make friends with the others🥹. Always pushing her nose through the bars when they are there. Bonnie and Otis are friendly most of the time or just indifferent but Yoshi is still not happy about the situation😬

The piggies have moved into the shed for the rest of the year/ until winter has passed.

It’s so cold so the heater has been turned on tonight🧡

With great sadness I must let you all know that last night Flora crossed over rainbow bridge🌈💔

She was found very cozy in her warm burrow. After a few weeks of her age showing we knew the time was coming. She was a bit wobbly these past few days but showed no aches or pains so I am glad she was able to pass peacefully in her nest.

She was a very introverted hammy and disliked being handled so I did the best I could to make her a happy life best suited for what she wanted.

I’ll miss her happy little greetings when she knew snacks were coming!

Baxter is such a happy boy🥰
They are moving into the shed for winter soon. We are thinking of having Baxter neutered so he can be with the girls but we have only had heartbreak with neutering guinea pigs in the past. Does anyone has success stories or advice on this?🫶
