Thankful for the time God has given me to humbly re-create His masterpieces 👆🏻💝

This painting was done by my nine year-old granddaughter, Pearl. She was greatly inspired by @simply.seema, p who recently posted her instruction on how to paint a Fall leaf. Great effort, wouldn’t you say? #autumnleaves #watercolorautumnleaves #kidartistsofinstagram by @tlimone

I love painting old structures. I can get lost in all the details. #watercolorlandscapes #watercolorcountryside #easytogetlosthere by @tlimone

I can find many things wrong with this piece… in fact, it was a “rescue” of something I started that early on was a watercolor “no-no”. In an effort NOT to waste the paper (we all know the cost of good watercolor paper😉), I started to lay some paint down from a scene I imagined on my own. To my surprise …. despite many inconsistencies in this piece… I discovered it brought ME a sense of peace. When I looked at it, it evoked a calmness in ME. #mistakeshappen #watercolorlandscapes #watercolorlakeside #paintingformentalhealth by @tlimone

Cold, rainy and a great day to paint. Photo inspiration from Pinterest. #watercolorsundown #watercolorartwork #watercolorpractice by @tlimone

I love painting moody Autumn scenes. Fall is my favorite season.🍂 #fallismyfavoriteseason🍁🍂🎃 #watercolorautumn #watercolorfall #autumnintheair by @tlimone

Always inspired by @pollyhill1313 for her SEEMINGLY SIMPLE “enchanted” creations. Watching her reels is therapeutic for me and encourages me to just play with my paints. Swipe to appreciate the gold and silver splatters. #playingwithpaint #playingwithwatercolors #enchantedlandscapes by @tlimone

I’m not saying I want summer to end, but, boy do I love all the feels of Autumn🍂#missyoualittle #autumnlandscapes #watercolorautumn #falllandscapes by @tlimone

Inspired by a photo taken by @mciandella from her porch in Virginia. Thank you for the inspiration! #fieldsofgold #fieldsofwonder #viewfrommyporch #watercolorwoods by @tlimone

I did this one on Hot Press paper and I don’t like the results nearly as much as I do on cold press or rough paper. I feel as though the paint just moves around on hot press, where on cold press, the paint soaks into the paper. Any thoughts on what paper you prefer….#watercolorseascape #watercolorpaper #eveningatthebeach by @tlimone
