Started this journey 10 years ago
I’d say working out has helped me in so many aspects in life, and not just physically. It’s taught me mental toughness, resilience, discipline, and has instilled confidence in me, etc

One little thing can truly change your life forever. I’m so happy I made the decision to make a change 10 years ago. As a senior in high school at the time, I had no idea the impact that decision would have on my future life ✨ but I’m so glad it did. The people I’ve met, the confidence I’ve built, the connections I’ve made. This decision has and will continue to positively impact my life as I continue & grow. Thankful for @dmv_iron_gym for being probably the best part of the journey thus far 🫶🏽☺️ by @tlsfit

What a beautiful way to hear God’s word, meet like-minded people & get healthier!

Another event I went to alone & almost talked myself out of. I work night shift tonight & this started at 10am, but something told me I needed to go. SO thankful I listened! 🥹

Here’s to stepping outside our comfort zones!
Perfect for all fitness levels & anyone exploring their faith.

This audio🥹 that little girl has been through so much

I lost my mom to a drinking/driving accident that happened when I was 2. She was unresponsive and in a coma until I was 9, when she passed away. It was just me and my dad now.

Growing up, my dad coped with alcohol. And it was rough ngl. The older I get, the more I realize how much he sacrificed for me. I couldn’t imagine how I’d act or the vices I’d choose if this were to happen to me, but I didn’t always see it that way always.

I worked 3 jobs in college to support my dad and I because he wasn’t working at that time. Barista, cleaned my church, and a server in a Mediterranean restaurant that turned into a hookah bar at night. Started this IG around that time too.

I worked HARD. And I am proud to say that I’m the first in my family to graduate HIGHSCHOOL — let alone get a bachelors degree. I have two with honors in both. I graduated nursing school with a 3.9 GPA (and ya, this was before chatGPT lol)

I moved from my hometown not once but TWICE. Never really had a plan B to lean on. Never really felt financially supported by anyone in my family. I’ve always had this “either you do it.. or it won’t get done” mindset because that’s just how it was growing up.

That little girl went thru A LOT, and this was such a good reminder that you need to talk to yourself nicer. That little kid is still in me. It’s still in all of us. ♥️

I know she’s proud of me. This post was the perfect reminder to sit back and remember all that you’ve done. by @tlsfit

And that’s on #nurselife 🤙🏼

Life’s more fun when you choose to live it. My life motto since making the move to Florida 💛 by @tlsfit

Wellll guys another long caption but I got a life update:
it’s official! I’ve signed my lease in St Pete and couldn’t be more excited for this opportunity granted to me.

I do believe everything happens for a reason. Ngl I’ve wanted to live here since before I moved to DC. Life happened and that’s how I ended up there.. and same with the transition to Florida! If you care, read below..

To be transparent, I’ve been unemployed and living off my savings since Feb 2026. These past couple months I’d say have been my lowest. Feeling lost with no real direction in life, stressed about the future, and really digging deep to believe in myself and take the leap. I told myself to trust God and apply to both DC and FL & see what happens.

I hate to sound sappy — but bruh I couldn’t have asked for a better turn out 😩 not only is my move to Florida completely free (hospital relocation bonus) BUT the apartment I found.. and LOVEEE.. is offering 2 months free and $400 under my budget. 10 mins from beach and 10 mins from downtown/work. And everything I ever coulda dreamed of!

I start work June 22nd and the two months freee will replenish a pretty good amount of my savings I’ve went through. Ain’t it weird how life works out?!

Guys if life feels like it’s pushing you down, do not give up on yourself. I’m so ready for this new adventure 🌴
& thank you all for your support throughout the years. Truly!
I couldn’t do this without yall!!!! Wish me luck bb🤞🏽

Until then — flight back to DC to say goodbye to everyone I’ve met and to pack. Come June 2026, you can consider me a FLORIDA RESIDENT BABBBYYYYY by @tlsfit

ask me at the beginning of the year if I saw my life this way. My answer would be HUHH. Just proof that God has a plan for you, you just gotta have faith and trust it☺️
