Modular Fairstand
for Proxima Fusion
2026

Surrounding and extending the Demonstrator, we designed a modular and transportable fairstand / display that allows for quick and easy setup and transport.

The round design is a subtle hint towards the shape of the fusion reactor itself, using both inside and outside to attract, visualize, inform and experience.

Together with @safeagency.cc, and thanks to the huge graphics support by Proxima Fusion's Design Team 🙏

The pulsing light installation is visualizing the complex process of starting and stabilizing of the reaction inside the hulls - creating plasma at 100 Million °C!

Imitating the plasma requires complex part geometry, flawless organic shapes and multilayered material finishes.

Scientific Demonstrator
for Proxima Fusion
2026

An interactive and animated scientific demonstrator for atomic fusion company Proxima Fusion, to showcase their technology, bring it closer to people - and demonstrate how their fusion reactor will function and look like.

This scale model of the large reactor is showcasing the main components of this engineering marvel, while opening up the otherwise hidden magic: the plasma core.

A pulsing light installation is visualizing the complex process of starting and steady-keeping of the reaction inside the hulls - creating plasma at 100 Million °C!

First shown during Festival Der Zukunft 2026 at @deutschesmuseum Munich.

TROPO

2026
wellness
intervention

A total of four tables were built as furniture for @zirka.space , which have been made from reclaimed materials taken from a large industrial storage rack that had been inherited when moving into the building.
After years of use, the tables were distributed across the grounds of the Kreativquartier for a third life cycle.
For the @wellness.intervention installation during KreativLabor Open 2026, the tables were finally handed over to the site completely.
Over the coming weeks and months, the installation TROPO will continue to merge with the site, evolve into an oasis as the plants grow and new elements are being added - gradually transforming from tables into a living place. by @tobiaslugmeier

Exhibition <Because you can't sit on a JPEG>
mcbw x ZIRKA 2026

During this year’s Munich Creative Business Week, @_piascheiber and I had the great pleasure of curating an exhibition at @zirka.space , presenting 40 works by 40 designers - some experimental, some applied, all of them beautiful!
A big thanks to all the designers that made this exhibition possible.

Curated together with @_piascheiber and made possible by @felixflemmer and @zirka.space

mcbw X ZIRKA Exhibition
„Because you can’t sit on a JPEG“

This May, ZIRKA joins forces with @munich_creative_business_week for an exhibition that takes sitting seriously — as a social act, a spatial gesture, a design statement.

From student experiments to commercially successful pieces, each object is a position — physically and conceptually. How does what we sit on shape how we meet?
