Signal VS. Noise. Everyone (including myself) wants to get to the signal in their life or whatever they’re doing. The reality is you’re going need to filter noise before you can find the signal. It’s a classic engineering idea but it relates to life too.

For some of us, our task is figuring out what the noise is.

For others, we may be focusing on the wrong signal, interpreting noise as the signal that’s right for us.

Whatever your path is, it’s yours. Only you can determine that. But if you’re feeling overwhelmed or distracted to start the week and November, try filtering out some noise.

Mute an account that keeps distracting you, turn on DoNotDisturb, set timers for 20min at a time, or look at that huge to-do list and just pick the 1-3 things that matter most and you can accomplish within a week. Start there. Find your signal! Even if that means just taking down the noise a bit so you can start to find it.

Have a great week yall - spread love, spread science, and stay curious

The #3dprinted #loki crown was a SUCCESS. Tomorrow we do the couple costume of Two Loki Variants. I got to wear the cape this time 😉 #3dprinting #additivemanufacturing #halloween by @todayinspacepod

Happy Halloween from your favorite Mad Scientist 🧑🏻‍🔬🎃💜

These are the phases of the Moon this week leading up to #Halloween! Taken by yours truly using my Vespera 1 Telescope 🔭

I’m loving this Moon Phase layout! First time doing it. Am I becoming an astrophotographer?

This week we lost Sir Patrick Stewart, at 86. For a lot of us he was the “measure of a man”. And it’s safe to say that without Captain Picard I would not have gone to school for an aerospace engineering degree, would not love space as much as I do, and this podcast wouldn’t have started — never mind run regularly for over a decade now.

This episode is about what Sir Patrick Stewart and Captain Picard meant to me. Audio version of this episode of TodayInSpacepod is available. Video episode is premiering on YouTube at 8PM ET. Links to Spotify, Apple podcast, and YouTube is in my bio - subscribe there to never miss an episode release

3D Printing Transforms You Into A Producer If You Do It Long Enough!

One of the points I make in my new book is that there areother benefits to learning how to do #3dprint for yourself aside from making fun things. It will transform you into a producer, and you’ll evolve from being just a 100% pure consumer. I think #3dprinting is a very valuable skill to have in the age of #AI. The ability to make your own parts for a product or for somebody else is right there waiting for you.

If you want some help getting into the 3-D printing, you can get my new book at ag3dlabs dot com slash book

If you want some help while you’re 3-D printing, #chat3DP our AI 3DP Assistant is here to help you be more successful with 3D Printing of any kind. Let’s make more awesome stuff!

#3dprinted Halloween Loki Variant Crowns for Couples Costume COMPLETE 👑🐊🎃 #3dprinting #additivemanufacturing #halloweencostume

How did my ai help? #chat3dp helped track my progress (fail and success) so we could diagnose the issues and track our changes. In the end, we really conquered this Gold Silk PLA and the parts came out amazing! Excited to share more about my process and workflow with AG3D Labs’ AI 3DP Assistant. AVAILABLE SOON! by @todayinspacepod

Here’s how I used #chat3dp #ai vision tool to diagnose the “blob” of a horn on my 3Dprinted Loki Crown for a #halloween costume! In just 30 seconds it analyzed 3 images of the part and sent back its diagnosis of what’s wrong, what to do about it, and how confident it was in what it “saw”

That’s just one of a handful of 3Dprinting tools we have available for users - make sure you are signed up for our newsletter when we’re ready for launch. Go to chat3dp.ai to sign up and get alerted when we release - VERY SOON! #additivemanufacturing #3dprinted by @todayinspacepod

Before we show you the #chat3dp Sherlock vision tool in action, let’s talk about what causes a horn or tall feature to blob-up like this in #3dprinting! The basic physics here is that the layer doesn’t have enough time to “set”. It’s still molten.

So what can you do to allow the horn or tall feature to successfully “set”? What settings can you change? I’ll share what I know from my decade of experience with #3dprinted parts.

In the next video, we’ll show you what our Sherlock Vision Tool shares for advice.

It’s time to share our first #buildinpublic #3dprinting project with #chat3dp! My first #ai built using my decade of hands on experience in #additivemanufacturing is ready. I want to share how I use it, and what better way to do that than to make something 3dprinted for Halloween.

First up: this Loki Crown horn that just keep blobbing up. Do you know what’s wrong with it and how to fix it? Let us know in the comments below
