FLIP INTO WONDER ✨ is back with a joyful celebration of stories, culture and creativity.

At @calfevents_cic 2026, I’ll be facilitating an illustration session 👉🏾 “Picture Power! - Story Without Words,” showing how images help children, especially reluctant readers, connect, imagine and understand before text takes over. Pictures make books accessible to young readers, build confidence, spark curiosity and open the door to storytelling in the most magical way.

Chelmsford Library @essexlibraries is ready to welcome every young explorer.

Next stop for me and my wonderful, talented creatives 👉🏾 Chelmsford Library!!!! 🤩🤩🤩

FLIP INTO WONDER ✨ is a vibrant celebration of stories, culture and creativity for children. Pictures play a vital role in every child’s reading journey, especially for reluctant readers because images speak instantly. They spark curiosity, build confidence and help young minds understand emotion, action and meaning long before words feel familiar.

This Saturday at Chelmsford Library, we’re inviting young explorers into a world where every picture, sight and sound becomes a doorway into imagination, discovery and joyful learning.
