When I got this email I nearly collapsed. To say this book has been an uphill battle is an understatement. So grateful for Elisabeth Egan to have given it such sharp attention and real care. Thank you so much to everyone who was supportive along the way. And if you read the books, I hope you enjoy them. I truly do love both stories and am sad to have left their worlds when the editing ended. xoxo link in bio by @tomcomitta

Musician, producer, and author Jeff Tweedy, best known as the lead vocalist and guitarist of Wilco, is interviewed in our Spring 2026 issue by writer Tom Comitta on the occasion of releasing his new solo triple album, “Twilight Override” (dBpm Records, 2025).

With endearing honesty, Tweedy contemplates fame as a platform from which artists might envision challenges to create brighter collective futures. During this year’s “Twilight Override” tour, Tweedy bridged rock music across generations by performing with his sons, Sammy and Spencer.

BOMB Members receive immediate access to the Spring 2026 issue in print and online. Follow our link in bio to subscribe today and read their full conversation.

20 years ago I was a singer-songwriter writing Wilco knock offs in my dorm room. 2 months ago I got to meet @jefftweedy and ask him everything about songwriting and life that I could think of. We covered everything from how he structures and closes his albums to the symmetries of Twilight Override (I really nerded out) to the importance of creating spaces for positivity and creativity in this incredibly fraught moment. Even squeezed in a request for advice on how to write my next book lol. Check out our conversation on newstands and online for paid subscribers next week (only $5 a month!). Then listen to his albums and read his books! Thank you to @benjamin.a.samuel for orchestrating this conversation and to @bombmag for including us in such a beautiful issue. And so exciting to be here alongside @lauramvandenberg , @elesjae , and @janivaellis , among many others xoxo by @tomcomitta
