It is a good thing to give thanks to God and to worship His holy name.

I am conscious of His awesomeness, faithfulness, love, blessings and goodness.

I look back and though I remember the challenges, I also remember His strong faithfulness.

Who can contend with you oh Lord? Who can shut when you open or open when you shut?

......Scripture that warms my heart.

For we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us.*

.........trusting God firmly irrespective of prevailing circumstances. If there's anything I am sure of, it is the fact His words are true.....so when He says in Jer29vs11 that I know the plans I have for you, thoughts of peace and not of evil, I remain convinced they are true.

His words bring comfort, His words bring life, His words allows me to dream still.

Today Lord, I thank you most especially for the gift of Salvation.....it is priceless and of course humbling. I received and keep basking in it not because of my goodness (alas, who is?), but because of your goodness.

I remain thankful!
His words are true!

We cry, we wonder, we despair, we sigh..........been there, almost wondering what His next big plan is..........yet, there's always a reason to laugh.
Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning...

I recently came across a write-up about a well-respected woman who 'found' herself at almost 40. I was most impressed.
The pressure is always there about achievements and the time it takes us to cross this or that milestone....how about we just enjoy the moment and soak in the awesomeness of the here and now......the goodness of His mercy and the preciousness of His grace.

I laugh because my father in heaven laughs....my laughter isn't based on what is seen, but what is unseen.

It isn't based on emotions, because He deals beyond emotions......my laughter stems from His hold on me.

Gracious is He who is the all-in-all

This is me being 40years grateful.
