HI, I am Tommy 🤙🏾 I was born and raised in Hiriketiya, and I still live here with my family. I've grown up around this area and know it pretty well, from the best spots for a swim to where to go or to grab Sri Lankan food.

These days, you will usually find me at Tommy's, our family restaurant just above Pehembiya Beach. You'll find me, my family and our doggies here - somewhere between the kitchen, the tables and enjoying the ocean view.

Hiriketiya has always been home to me, and I'm happy to share a little bit of it with you. by @tommys_chill_grill

👨🏾‍🍳 Meet Pasindu, the young talent behind our kitchen. At just 23, he already brings two years of experience and a real passion for good food. After studying at the Korea Lanka School of Hospitality and Hotel Management, Pasindu trained at the Hilton Colombo, where he gained valuable experience in a professional kitchen.
When he's not cooking, he enjoys spending time with his mum and sister. ❤️
We are happy to have him in our team and even happier to let you taste what he creates 🍽️ ✨

Crispy Calamari Rings 🐙🦑 Made for sharing 🧡 by @tommys_chill_grill

Small balls. Big kottu energy. 🔥

Try our local favorite snack. Kottu is made from shredded flatbread stir-fried on a hot metal griddle with eggs, vegetables, spices, and curry sauce, then chopped together using two heavy metal blades.
This is our snack interpretation of the favorite street food dish.

A new beginning, in the Sri Lankan way 🇱🇰✨ My mom and I began Tommy’s opening with Buddha Pujāwa and Pirith, a traditional Buddhist blessing for good wishes and prosperity. At the Suba Nekatha, the auspicious time, we performed කිරි ඉතිරවීම (Kiri Ithirawīma) — the boiling over of milk, symbolising abundance, prosperity and good fortune for our new beginning. 🥛🔥
