Hi everyone

I’ve wanted to do a video post to thank everybody. But for some reason have struggled to do so. I’m the most reluctant front person of a band that ever was! I just love playing.

Thank you to everyone from the bottom of my heart for every, message, comment, reaction, share and donation. I have genuinely been floating on air with all the support I’ve received. I’ve never felt so much love and care in my life before.

I hopefully will build up to some kind of video message and maybe even posting some music content. I’m not a natural attention seeker or enjoy the limelight too much. I just love playing music either form myself or to make other people happy.

I start my second round of triple chemotherapy treatment at Velindre Hospital Cardiff this Friday. The side-effects will likely have me out of the game for the following 5-6days if it’s like the first batch. Then I have a week where I feel stronger but very much immunocompromised again. I’ll be out walking & cycling during this time to build up my strength. Plus having outdoor coffee’s and socialising at a safe distance.

The past week since going public has filled my cup to overflowing with the love and support shown. I’ll carry that into the chemo week and smile through the whole process after the week I’ve had. I can’t thank you all enough. But this is me try it to word it so that you know how much I appreciate you all from every bit of my souls.

Hey folks, I’ve taken about a week to build up to this. If you’ve noticed I’ve not been in some gigs over the last week or around all that much. It’s because I’ve been diagnosed with Stage 3 Bowel Cancer. A 5cm tumour in the cecum, first bit of the large intestine right after the small intestine ends. Velindre Cancer Hospital have already started my chemo treatment Friday 23/10/25. I have to#win more rounds of treatment to go. Before rest, scans and eventually surgery to remove the offending lumps. During this time I’ve been advised that I’m immunosuppressant and unable to do my day to day job of playing music for people in public settings that I enjoy so much. So I plan to document things here, play you some music and hope to ask for some shares and likes in an effort to raise money to be able to pay rent, bills etc. until I can get back on my feet and start to gig in the real world once again.
