I haven’t been this excited for a show in a long time…

I first heard @rush as an irresponsible 13-year-old who forgot to send back his Columbia House card that month and ended up with a copy of their album Presto in his mailbox. I was just starting to play drums and didn’t know what I didn’t know yet. When I started listening, I realized that the drums in this band were different than the other bands I had been listening to.

Unfortunately I never got to see them play live with Neil Peart. But tonight was amazing nonetheless. @anika.nilles did a great job filling in for The Professor. Thank you @geddyimages and @thereallerxst for taking the show back on the road and sharing the music that you and Neil made with this 49 year old 13 year old kid!

Long live @rush

In keeping with my effort to post more than just the band, here’s one from the wedding of @matthew.randle and @shannon.randle this last summer.

A recent one from @thriveyogamanette when @nancy_in_bloom was showing me how her phone takes pictures automatically. Just trying to break up all the band stuff on here and show an off-stage side of me.
