ANOTHER GREAT SESSION WITH SIAN!! 🏏

We started the session going over some front foot drives that we had previously worked on in past sessions.

We then started working on some back foot defence fundamentals to try and build a technique and confidence to deal with those faster shorter balls that we all dislike!!

We then progressed onto to some faster, bounce feeds to make it more challenging and realistic. All of which Sian took in her stride! Great work as always Sian!!! 👏🏻

FINLAY’S ON FIRE 🔥🔥🔥

4 sessions in with Finlay and so many improvements already!!! 🙌🏻

We have done lots of technical work on using his feet to spinners and hitting it straight down the ground, as you can see Finlay is a brilliant sweeper but wanted to add another boundary option to his game vs spin!

We also have lots of conversations around game plans and tactics of how to play spin to ensure he is playing to his strengths with lower risks to help him build an innings and create big scores!!

Great work Finlay!! Looking forward to seeing lots of big scores for you this season!!! 🙌🏻

J MAC IS FLYING!!! 🔥👌🏻

Great second session with James!

We started the session by really challenging him with top hand only drills to really try and emphasise using his left side more and holding his shape.

We then progressed this onto using both hands for the same drill to carry over the work we had just done.

The final progression was to challenge him at a high pace and higher variability in line and length with over arm throw downs!

Finally we started working on the pull shot! Similar focuses to last week by ensuring good balance and head position throughout! 💪🏻👌🏻

Great work James!!

WAIT UNTIL THE LAST SHOT!! 😍👌🏻

Great first session with Sian!!! 🙌🏻

We focussed on maintaining a good base and opening up her front foot to straight balls so she could access the ball with a straight bat and play towards mid on! 👌🏻

We then went onto to work on Sian’s forward defence! Focusing on late contact and really get her weight into the ball by getting her head into the ball! 💪🏻

We then naturally progressed on this with some drives and added some decision making elements in towards the end of the session where Sian would have to make the decision whether to defend or attack each ball!

Really pleasing first session and I’m looking forward to see how much more Sian can progress during our sessions!

Great first session with James!!! 🙌🏻

At the start of the session James was having to play across his front foot and therefore not able to access the ball properly. We worked on a few drills and really focused on opening his front foot up to allow him to step forward and play the ball straight with a straight bat! 👌🏻

As the session progressed we also focussed on holding his shape more when playing through the off side and making sure his bat follow through went in the same direction he wanted to hit the ball in, as apposed to cutting across it.

The final focus for the session was maintaining his balance throughout the shot and “holding the pose!” 📸

As you can see… the results speak for themselves! Great work James!!! 👏🏻

I am really looking forward to seeing even more progression as our sessions go on!
