Ultraman round 2 for Tonesy… because apparently once wasn’t enough suffering…

Watching him chip away at this goal over the past 12 months the early mornings, massive training days, tired legs, long weekends and everything in between has been so inspiring. And race day showed exactly how hard he’s been working behind the scenes.

He took a huge 2 hours and 45 minutes off his overall time 🤯
Which is honestly insane over an event this brutal.

The amount of work, consistency and mental toughness that goes into Ultraman is hard to explain unless you see it firsthand. The prep work, the long hours over 3 days of swimming, riding and running… it’s honestly wild. Then there’s everything happening behind the scenes with the dream team and crew working around the clock, some barely even sleeping. It really is such an incredible weekend full of hard-working humans all pushing toward one goal.

So a HUGE thank you to @sammyhankins for helping crew over all 3 days. We genuinely couldn’t have done it without you!

And a massive thank you to @jess_pettrow and @katebevilaqua for jumping in on Monday to run with Tones and help Sammy and I out. Absolute legends 🤍

And to Tonesy… keep doing outrageous things because you inspire me to do outrageous things too. I love you and I’m so, so proud of you ♥️ by @toneelder

✨UM 2025✨

The determination and dedication this man has is beyond incredible. Watching him take on Ultraman, gave me yet another appreciation at what Tonesy can set his mind to and achieve, with what looked like ease. Each day he faced some sort of stress, whether it was the flat tyre on Day 1 and 2 or the sudden weather changes across the entire weekend, he handled it composed and unbothered. That is some mental strength right there. Tonesy you never seize to amaze me, you really can achieve anything you put your mind too, your tenacity and resilience is what makes you the competitor you are. You are the hardest worker in the room, a humble competitor and an all round incredible human being. I can’t wait to see what you do next we have some planning to do 😉 I love you my now Ultraman, what an upgrade from Ironman ♥️

A massive shoutout to @bmoc23 for completing the 100km @ultratrailaustralia event in Katoomba and amazing support crew @nateldrr, Georgie, @evie_c_23 and Callum who bought the vibes and enthusiasm to keep us on our feet 🥰. We aimed to just finish Burt had a stretch target of sub 20hrs which we smashed with a 19hr 22min finish (including the 45min queue delays on course). We had fun, no breakdowns and excellent recovery! Who is up for 2026? by @toneelder

Tones’s time precision is uncanny 😝

Why spend time warming up or hanging around in the wind, when you can jump out the car start your race immediately and warm up in the first 5kms.

This man is Brainy 🤓

See you at the end of your 56kms 🫡

Welcome to our mini podcast, “On the Floor with Tones” 🎙️

I haven’t quite convinced him to do a full podcast with me YET… but I have convinced him to sit on the floor with me once a month and talk shit about anything 😆

We definitely recorded this a few weeks ago and did some babbling about a few potentially controversial topics…

My personal opinion of hill runs…
Mobility + stretching
And the all-time fave… Zone 2 training.

No real structure, just our thoughts, opinions and probably a few disagreements along the way.

Who knows, maybe one day there’ll actually be a Nat & Tones poddy 🎙️

Loved running around Perth Hyrox with this weapon and genuinely amazing human being!

Was such a fun race and apparently I enjoy collecting flags in Perth only 🫡

Looking forward to racing with @suz_sunnycoast again!

Also thank you to @musclerepublic for supplying the awesome kits!

An old trend but heck it’s funny, even funnier telling Julian, now that he’s 15 that, potentially his future misses could be in diapers 🤣🤣
