I heard this quote whilst listening to @toallthepeoplepodcast by @janell_roberts. That episode moved me so much that I actually wrote Janell a letter. I received such kind words in response and Till this day she has supported me so much and I just want to thank her. Feel free to Go over and show support she’s doing amazing things ❤️!

Still not over this day! 🙌🏾

Thank you all so much for the incredible support. This is only the beginning, and I truly believe God has so much more in store for Christian creatives.

A special thank you to @foryourglorymvmnt , @factanonverbarccg , and @tonesbysalome for partnering with us. We genuinely couldn’t have done this without your support, wisdom, and guidance. Having people who understood and believed in the vision from the start was such a blessing, and we’re so grateful to have had you on this journey with us. Praying we get to work together again very soon!

Another huge thank you to all of the artists who made this event so special:

✨ What does it mean to be ready?

At BelEve, we believe readiness is more than being prepared for the next step. It’s about having the confidence, self-belief, resilience and voice to navigate life’s opportunities and challenges.

Our Readiness Framework helps girls develop across five key areas:

💚 Emotional Readiness – understanding and managing emotions
💚 Learning & Independence – taking responsibility and embracing growth
💚 Communication & Self-Advocacy – expressing needs, ideas and aspirations
💚 Social & Relational Readiness – building healthy relationships and support networks
💚 Identity, Agency & Future Readiness – knowing who you are and where you want to go

Through BelEve In Her Space, girls build the foundations they need to become leaders of their world.

🌟 Ready to grow in confidence, make new friends and discover your potential?

📍 Wednesdays | 4pm–6pm
Bellingham Gateway

📍 Saturdays (from 4th July) | 11am–1pm
Honor Oak Youth Club

☀️ Summer Programme registrations are now open.

Join us and start building your readiness for whatever comes next.

On Saturday, we had the pleasure of helping organise and produce @buildingthetabernacle founded by the amazing Abiola Agoro.

This was a 1-day Christian exhibition built to showcase the many talents used to honour God, featuring photography pieces, fashion, spoken word, dance and so much more.

Leveraging the talents of one of our amazing set designers, @ox_ore , we came up with this wood concept as the perfect base to display all the artwork.

We built everything by hand in just one night and seeing it all come together to honour God made every hour worth it.

Thank you to everyone involved. taken in London, United Kingdom by @salome.tirado

I recently had the pleasure of hosting a roundtable 🥹

In our latest @tonesbysalome project we brought together 5 senior leaders and 5 Gen Z in @pwc_uk offices to debate and discuss the current state of the UK Job crisis

This hit home as I’ve seen so many close friends and family be affected by this and I wanted to create a platform to discuss this further.

From this roundtable, a few things became clear:

- Good grades ≠ guaranteed success anymore
- Skills, storytelling and who you know are becoming just as important
- Many young people are doing everything right… and still struggling

The real conversation isn’t just about “getting a job”, it’s about rethinking the system itself

We didn’t just talk about CVs and applications. We challenged:
- The pressure to follow “safe” career paths over e.g. entrepreneurship (especially as black individuals)
- The reality of a job market with fewer opportunities and more competition
- And what it truly means to build a career with purpose, resilience and identity

One of the biggest takeaways was: Don’t just apply to jobs... Position yourself uniquely and build relationships at the organisations you want to work in.

This wouldn’t have been possible without Dara Douglas and the Black Leaders Collective so a massive thanks to them

The full roundtable is now on YouTube: link in bio
Also available on Spotify!

I’d love to hear your perspective: What’s been your experience of the job market recently?
