Number two overall pick. And the hardest thing Ronnie Brown ever faced wasn't a defense.

It was waking up with nowhere to be.

Since we were five years old, the game told us where to go and who to be. Then one day it stops. The structure leaves, and the only question left is: who am I outside of this?

I lived it. Super Bowl ring, nine years, five teams, and I still had to answer that question.

If the game ended today, would you know who you are?

My foot was dragging across the practice field. Nerve damage from a knee injury in high school. I was stumbling through pass protection drills at a position I never asked to play.

Before the injury, I was a tight end catching touchdowns. Now I was blocking for the guys who got to catch them. I felt demoted, like the game had already moved on without me.

Kyle Efford's body made the call on his career. Mine made the call on my position.

But it wasn't a demotion. It was preparation.

Your body can change your position. It can't change your purpose.

That foot that dragged took me to a national championship, the NFL, and a Super Bowl ring.

When your body makes the call, are you going to fight it, or let it point you somewhere new?

The whole story is in What To Do When It's Done. Comment BOOK 👈🏾 and I'll send you the first chapter free.

Georgia Tech captain. All-ACC linebacker. Only a senior. His heart wanted more, but his body said no.

"While my heart and my mind still have so much more to give, I've reached a point where I have to start thinking about the life ahead of me."

Your body will retire before your purpose ever does.

I got cut more than once, then chose my own last day. Kyle didn't get that choice. But we both ended up facing the same question: who am I now?

He gave this game everything. Now all of that gets to go somewhere new.

If your body made the call tomorrow, would you know your next move?

"You gave 10 years of your life to this. Don't just throw it away. Use it."

After basketball, Storm Warren spent over a year in an identity crisis. He stepped away from social media for three years while he built a new career in financial services, asking himself whether he should go back to sports.

His answer: you don't have to choose. Use what the game gave you.

2002 Texas playoffs. I caught a pass, turned upfield, and a defender dove low into my left knee. I felt the pop before I hit the turf.

I took my recruiting visit to the University of Texas in a wheelchair, smiling for pictures and wondering if my identity as an athlete had just been erased.

They moved me from tight end to tackle. I felt demoted. It was preparation. That move took me to a national championship, the NFL, and a Super Bowl ring.

So stop saying "I was cut." Start saying "I was redirected."

This Sunday, November 1 at 8PM CST, I'm hosting Platform to Purpose, a free live training to help you find your next position.

Nine years in the NFL. Jets, Falcons, Lions. And it ended with security waiting at his parking spot.

"They walked me by my locker, told me I can grab whatever I can, and they'll send me the rest."

Most guys don't retire. They get walked out.

The league decides when you're done playing. You decide what you become.

If they called you in tomorrow, would you know your next move?

This Sunday, November 1 at 8PM CST, I'm hosting Platform to Purpose, a free live training to show you how to find it.

From Monroe to LSU to Overseas. Then the Game Ended. | Storm

Storm Warren went from Monroe, Louisiana to LSU to a pro career overseas.

Then he had to answer the hardest question in sports: who are you when the game is over?

Where you come from may shape your story. It doesn't have to determine how it ends.

Devin Morris said his identity was wrapped up in the game. Mine was too.

Every time I got cut, I felt a knot in my stomach. When the stats stopped, I questioned my worth. They taught us to man up and move on, so I did. It came out as anxiety, anger, and grief I wouldn't name.

So I stopped running from it. I talked to my closest friends. I sat with a therapist. I cried in front of my wife. And I found out who I was without the helmet.

Strength isn't silence. It's vulnerability with discipline.

If the game is gone, who are you without it?

"When you've been working your whole life for a goal, and it's suddenly taken away from you, it ain't easy."

Devin Morris played defensive back at Texas A&M. He found his purpose, and he'll still tell you the hard days come.

Getting lost isn't weakness. It's what happens when nobody hands you the next play.

I lived it. Super Bowl ring, almost a decade in the NFL, five teams, and I still had days where the doubt crept in.

Purpose doesn't erase the hard days. It gives you a reason to get through them.

So where do you stand right now?

All week we've been talking about one question: who are you when the game ends?

Monday, Ronnie Brown named it. Wednesday, I told you about the day I carried my cleats out in a plastic bag.

Today is about the path forward. You don't rebuild your identity by accident. You start by being honest about where you stand right now.

That's why I built the assessment. It shows you exactly where you are in your transition and what to build next.
