TA-DA! What do you think about this year's poster design by local artist @lavendercowboyart ?!?!

We think it is just the right message of standing strong and supporting each other that's just so critical for our community to get through these tough times.

You can already reserve your own high-quality art poster and T-shirt through our friends at @shopgoldengems

With delivery and pickup options in September so you can wear your TGPride-Pride to our festival!

They have been kind enough to donate 100% of the revenue back to the festival! (25% of all merch revenue will also be going back to this year's artist).

Please spread the word! The @stltoday has reported that the teen whose name and face were released publicly by the police to the local media was mis-identified by Flock cameras and the witness with a photo of him in a lineup.

We are appalled that there wasn't solid and reliable confirmation of the evidence before his name and mugshot were released to the community. We are also regretful that this news was posted without knowing that this information from the police and media was unreliable.

In the future, when attacks and threats to our community are announced we are going to add disclaimers or even withhold information about the accused until further confirmation and prosecution occurs.

Noone should have to go through what Abdulwareth A. Alahmad had to deal with here.

Now we have a victim of a hate crime and a victim of being wrongfully accused.

(It has also been reported that there have been charges filed against other teens and more investigation for more perpetrators is under way.)
