This project has been a really special journey for me. Stepping into the role of musical director for Restore Local an initiative to help regreen Africa has pushed me far beyond my usual sound and comfort zone, and that’s exactly what made it so exciting. Working with incredibly talented African artists like @iambenpol and @julianikenya opened my eyes and ears to new rhythms, new stories, and entirely different cultural perspectives. That’s how ‘Lete Sound’ came to life it’s something fresh, unexpected, and deeply inspired by collaboration. The project is also about shining a spotlight on the incredible talent coming out of Africa and giving these artists the global platform they truly deserve.For me, this goes beyond music. It’s about connection, learning, and using creativity as a force for something bigger. Africa has been close to my heart for over 25 years, starting with my work for Dance for Life, continuing through my work with Just Dig It, and now evolving into Restore Local. Being part of a project that combines culture, music, and real environmental impact means everything to me.I’m proud to be part of something that not only sounds different, but actually makes a difference. by @iambenpol
