My first time getting a comment like this I was confused, aren’t all parents influencing their children in some way? This is the ultimate Aliyah experience. These are the best cookies I have ever made! Soft in the center, crispy on the edges, thick, gooey, and rolled in the perfect babka crumb coating!Whisk together: 1 cup neutral oil 1 cup brown sugar ½ cup white sugarAdd: 2 eggs + 1 egg yolkMix in: 1 tsp baking soda 1 tsp salt 3 tbsp cornstarchAdd: 2½ cups flourFold in: 1½ cups chocolate chipsSeparate ⅓ of the dough and mix with ¼ cup cocoa powderAdd it back and gently swirl for that perfect babka marble effect.For the babka crumb: Mix together ½ cup flour ½ cup sugar Pinch of salt ¼ cup neutral oilScoop large cookies (about 4 tbsp each), roll fully in the babka crumb, and place on a tray.Freeze for 24 hours ❄️Bake straight from frozen at 350°F for 14–17 minutes until the edges are golden and the centers are still soft.Let cool for 10 minutes… if you can wait 😍#cookies #babka #kosher #baking #recipe by @nikiweinstock
