My most recent commission. 🤍 For me, there is something incredibly meaningful about painting a place that is loved by someone else. Typically, a client will share a photograph and the story of a place that holds extraordinary meaning for them. Sometimes it is somewhere I have experienced myself; other times, I come to know it through their photographs and stories. Rather than recreating the photograph precisely, I use the light, the atmosphere, and the memory of the place to slowly translate the feeling of that moment into soft layers of earth pigments. For commission inquiries, please contact @winstonwachter 🤍 by @tracyrocca
New York: Tracy Rocca’s work consists of intricate layers that are carefully built over time. From this process, they achieve a characteristic luminosity and unique sense of depth. Her works, Where the Light Remains and The Moment Before Light, are available for viewing in the gallery. Tracy Rocca Where the Light Remains, 2025 Oil on polyester over panel 24 x 24 inches Tracy Rocca The Moment Before Light, 2025 Oil on polyester over panel 24 x 24 inches #winstonwachterfineart #winstonwachternewyork #tracyrocca #chelseagalleries by @tracyrocca

New York: This new piece by Tracy Rocca, currently on view in the office, highlights the characteristic luminosity achieved in Rocca's work. Her abstract compositions are inspired from every day organic imagery seen at home in New Mexico. Her blurred images are meant to serve as a reminder that calm exists amidst the chaos of daily life. Tracy Rocca Inhale, 2026 Earth pigments on panel 24 x 24 inches #winstonwachterfineart #winstonwachternewyork #tracyrocca #earthpigmentsonpanel #chelseagalleries by @tracyrocca
Subtle clouds. These two pieces are now available at Winston Wachter New York. Earth pigments applied in thin soft layers that reflect and shift throughout the day. At times revealing the mineral texture, and at others allowing the composition itself to come forward. Very difficult to capture in photos, catch them in person if you can. 🙏🏻 by @tracyrocca
