One market makes a lower low. A positively correlated market holds a higher low.

That disagreement is a bullish SMT divergence. Compare matching swing points and look for confirmation within your trading plan.

Two markets. One disagreement.

SMT divergence compares the highs and lows of correlated markets to spot moves that aren’t confirmed by both. This week, learn the difference between bullish and bearish SMT.

Save this grid for your next chart study.

A new high in one market doesn’t always tell the whole story.

Bearish SMT occurs when one positively correlated market makes a higher high while the other forms a lower high. It provides context. not a guaranteed reversal or a standalone entry.

The rate stayed the same. The message deserves a closer look.

The Fed held its target range at 3.75–4.00%, with a 10–2 vote. Understanding the decision starts with looking beyond the headline.

Fed ne rates hold kiye, lekin asli khabar vote mein thi. 2 members cut nahi, HIKE chahte thay. Isko kehte hain HAWKISH HOLD. 🏦

US 10Y ~5% · Gold ~$4,000 · Oil $100+ · December hike odds 80%+

December 9 se pehle mera watchlist: oil, inflation data, jobs report. Ye prediction nahi, framework hai.

Save karo, 9 December ko dekhenge kaun sahi tha.

Same rates. Different views.

Two voters preferred a rate hike—a reminder that holding rates doesn’t mean everyone agrees on what comes next.

Keep an eye on inflation, jobs data, and Fed guidance. A hawkish signal isn’t a guaranteed hike.
