Ad. Obsessed with our @traditionalbeams rustic oak beams because character shouldn’t be limited to period homes 🪵 We opted for the aged rustic oak beam in rugger brown for all four beams to add a special touch to our @magnetkitchensuk kitchen, windows and bespoke library 🤎 #myhomestyle #timelessdesign #newbuildjourney #oakbeams #traditionalbeams #cosyvibes #homelibrary #newkitchen #newbuildhome #magnetkitchen by @traditionalbeams
Hello! 🥰 I’m back in instaland after a lovely break away in Cornwall ☀️✨ It’s been so nice to be away but also felt so good to come home to our cosy little School House! ☺️🏡 I am loving this corner now since adding this rustic faux beam! It’s completely changed this corner and it suddenly has so much more charm and character! Thanks to @traditionalbeams for helping me bring this space to life! ✨ My lonely little Aga now has the perfect partner with this characterful companion! A match made in heaven…don’t you think?! 🥰🫶🏼✨ Hope your week is going well so far. We’re enjoying the summer holidays and a slower pace. Sunny October moments in the kitchen 🤎✨ making the most of these last few days of washing-drying weather before the rain takes over… although judging by today’s weather, that ship has already sailed! 😐🌧️🤣 . . . . . . . . . . . . . Always lovely to be asked to return to install in previous customers new homes. This is the 5th installation we’ve completed for them and such a lovely couple. Thank you once again ❤️ Looking forward to starting again on a new up and coming property too. Is anyone else ready to clear out the summer and bring in the autumn? 🍂 Cooler evenings, cosy rooms and, of course, getting the fire going again. We can’t wait to see our beams becoming part of those autumn evenings, gathered around the fire with a cuppa, a good book or good company. Are you ready for cosy season? #autumndécor #autumnlivingroom #oakbeam #autumnfireplace #homedesign by @traditionalbeams
The little change that made such a difference 🤎 Adding this light oak beam from @traditionalbeams above our fireplace has completely transformed the look of this room. I wanted something that would bring warmth and natural texture without making the space feel too dark, and this light oak finish from Traditional Beams was exactly what I was looking for. I love how it works with the neutral tones in our living room and gives the fireplace a much more finished, characterful feel. It’s amazing how one simple detail can change the whole room. And with the fire glowing, pumpkins out and autumn styling creeping in… I’m definitely ready for cosy season 🍂🔥 Light oak beam | fireplace makeover | living room inspiration | neutral home | autumn home decor | cosy living room | oak fireplace | home renovation | contemporary country style | modern country home | neutral interiors | fireplace styling | home decor inspiration by @traditionalbeams
PROJECT SPOTLIGHT | MILTON ST. MARKET 🌳 From a former Methodist church to a vibrant new food hall, Milton St. Market is a project where the woodwork needed to feel as though it had always belonged in the building. Taking inspiration from the character and architecture of the original church, we designed and manufactured a completely bespoke bar in our North Yorkshire workshop. The bar frontage and substantial solid oak bar top were manufactured from carefully selected English oak, with profile detailing designed to reflect some of the architectural features found throughout the building and complement the character of the original interior. Alongside the bar, we manufactured long, beer hall-inspired tables and solid oak benches, designed to suit the scale and communal feel of the space. A number of the original church pews were also carefully repurposed to form the frontages of the individual kitchen areas — retaining another piece of the building’s history within its new use. Every element was designed not only to look right within the space, but to withstand the demands of a busy hospitality environment, from the construction itself through to the heavy-duty finishes. The result is woodwork that brings warmth, character and permanence to a dramatically transformed space, while still respecting the building it sits within. For us, bespoke isn’t simply about making something to fit. It’s about making something that belongs. The best addition to our lounge has got to be our @traditionalbeams fireplace beam. It’s PERFECT 🤩 by @traditionalbeams
ad One of the finishing touches I’d been dreaming of for our kitchen extension... wooden beams! 🥹 @traditionalbeams absolutely brought my vision to life with these gorgeous oak beams, and the character they’ve added above the window and bifolds is just incredible. They instantly make the whole space feel warmer, cosier and so much more complete. For reference, we went with the shade ‘Light’ and I’m obsessed!!! 🤎 . . . . . . . . . . . . .
