Bacon Kebabs. Literally!

Have you ever made a paste using bacon? Try it and thank us later!

You will need:
3-4 chicken breasts, cubed
2 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
½ tsp garlic powder
½ tsp onion powder
3 tbsp paprika
3 tbsp brown sugar
8 slices bacon
¾ cup BBQ sauce

1. In a food processor or blender, combine salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, brown sugar, and bacon. Pulse until a smooth paste forms.

2. Coat the cubed chicken in the bacon paste. It’s easiest to toss it together in a big bowl.

3. Place cubed chicken pieces on a skewer and cook your kebabs on a grill or in a cast iron until cooked through (about 10 minutes)

4. Brush the kebabs with the BBQ sauce and grill for an additional minute.

🎃 SMOKED PUMPKIN SOUP 🎃

@lovetocookwithkirsty

I love Halloween because I get to make pumpkin soup!
This is so delicious! You gotta give it a try!

What do you need?

1 pumpkin
1 baking potato
2 white onions
1 bulb garlic
2 sweet potatoes
Fools gold rub from Angus & Oink
1 litre of chicken or veg stock

Peel and chop your veg, scoop seeds from the pumpkin and set aside, just take the top off your bulb of garlic so it can be smoked in its shell.

Drizzle a little olive oil and sprinkle the vegetables with fool's gold rub.

At the same time rinse and pat dry your seeds and sprinkle over some fools gold rub put them in the traeger until they are dried out and crispy remove and let them cool use them as a snack or to sprinkle on your soup.

Start the Traeger at 125c and smoke the vegetables for around an hour before turning it up to 200c to char and soften.

Scoop all the flesh of your vegetables and put them all in a soup maker with your hot stock, and let it do its thing for 30 minutes if you don't have a soup maker make sure your stock is hot and simmer your vegetables for around 25 minutes and then blend until smooth.

Top your soup with a little drizzle of cream and a sprinkling of your seeds and a grilled cheese sandwich is a must to dip in it!
