mile 150 elk peak/klickitat
my birthday night. i’m hitting the peak right at sunset. i haven’t seen anyone all day and with the last light i reach Chris the race photographer on the summit. it is magical. i make one phone call out across state lines. just like that the sky turns black and the cold mist surrounds me. descending down to the aid station i realize the mist is my cloak, cause for this moment i am a princess and this is my mountain #bigfoot200 by @trail_to_awesome

my pack and belt are insane right here 😆 with the long sections and mandatory gear it adds up fast. by @trail_to_awesome
