That first sip after the finish line. 💧

You’ve tackled the hills, found your way through the vineyards and kept going when your legs suggested otherwise.

Now you get to stop, take a breath and enjoy what you’ve just achieved.

Whether it’s your first 5km or a longer adventure, it helps to know there are people looking after you along the way.

That’s why we’re grateful to BWT Stellenbosch, our hydration partner, for helping us look after thirsty TrailFun runners. Behind those pink-labelled bottles is a local team supporting your morning on the trails. 💗

Next time you spot the pink BWT gazebo:
1️⃣ Pop over after your run.
2️⃣ Enjoy some water and a moment to catch your breath.
3️⃣ Say hello to the team and ask how they can help with your water needs at home or work.

Thank you, BWT Stellenbosch, for being part of the TrailFun community.

You bring the courage. We’re grateful to have partners who help us take care of you.

Give BWT Stellenbosch a follow and support the people supporting your next adventure. by @trailfunseries

Don’t come to Blaauwklippen if your usual Saturday is too good to interrupt.

The errands. The washing. The “we really should do something together” message that never quite becomes a plan.

If that’s working for you, carry on. 😉

But if you’d like a morning that leaves you with more than a shorter to-do list, come and join us.

This photo from a previous TrailFun at Middelvlei captures something we love: the run is finished, but nobody seems in much of a hurry to leave.

On Saturday 21 November, we’re taking that TrailFun spirit somewhere new: our first event at Blaauwklippen.

And if you’re nervous about being the new person, here’s a comforting thought: it’ll be our first TrailFun there, too. We’ll discover it together.

You don’t need to arrive with a group or have someone else’s pace. Come with a friend, or come and meet a few.

Here’s your plan:

1. Send this to someone you’ve been meaning to spend time with.
2. Book your entry online.
3. Join us at Blaauwklippen on Saturday 21 November.

A little fresh air. A little company. A morning to remember. 💚

Thank you to everyone who joined us yesterday for the Stellenbosch Garden Town Run at Neethlingshof.

This picture captures so much of what we love about sharing the trails with you: room to breathe, beautiful places to explore, and someone alongside you for the journey.

Whether you challenged yourself to go further or simply enjoyed moving at your own pace, thank you for making TrailFun part of your weekend. If it was your first time with us, we hope you felt right at home.

And if you’re looking at this wishing you’d joined us, there’s another morning waiting for you. Taking that first step can feel daunting—but you don’t have to do it alone.

Your next adventure starts with three simple steps:
1️⃣ Save the date.
2️⃣ Invite someone who could use a morning outdoors.
3️⃣ Join us on the trails.

Tell us in the comments: what was your favourite moment from yesterday? 👇

See you again soon. Go on, surprise yourself. 🌿 by @trailfunseries

16km. 500m elevation. 🌿☀️ And enough heat to question every life choice halfway up 😂

Today’s TrailFun adventure at Neethlingshof was 🔥 — gorgeous trails, some proper climbing, epic single track and views that made every sweaty step worth it.

Chris, Nic and I had the BEST day out, and because TrailFun knows how to do it properly… we finished the day with some well-earned wine tasting on the farm. 🍷😏

Trail running + beautiful farms + good people + wine afterwards?
Yeah… I’m very much here for this. 🏃🏼‍♀️🍷

If you’ve been looking for a fun way to get outdoors, discover new trails and meet good humans, TrailFun is where it’s at. ❤️

SMALL CAPS. A CHANCE TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE. 💙

Packing your trail shoes for tomorrow? Pop your plastic bottle caps in too!

We’re collecting plastic bottle caps to help support wheelchair provision at tomorrow’s Stellenbosch Garden Town Run at Neethlingshof. It’s a simple way to add a little extra good to your morning on the trails.

Joining in is easy:

1. Gather the plastic bottle caps you have at home.
2. Ask a friend or family member to add theirs.
3. Bring them along tomorrow and hand them to the TrailFun team.

A handful or a whole bag — bring what you have. Together, our small contributions can add up. ♻️

Remember when getting outside was enough?
Before every run needed a target. Before you compared your pace. Before finding time for yourself became another thing to squeeze into the week.
Maybe you miss that feeling.
A path ahead of you. A view you didn’t expect. The satisfaction of getting out the door and seeing where your legs could take you.
This year’s Garden Town theme is “Return to your roots”.
For you, that might mean a gentle return to the trails. Or it might mean choosing a longer challenge because you remember how much you enjoy one.
There’s room for both.
1. Choose your distance: 7, 16, 25 or 37 km.
2. Make time for it by entering online.
3. Meet us at Neethlingshof this Saturday, 31 October.
Come for the part of running or walking that you want more of.

You don’t have to choose the longest distance to have a big morning.

If you’ve been looking at Garden Town and thinking, “That looks lovely, but is it for me?” — start here.

Can I walk?
Yes. The 7 km is a good option if you want a shorter trail outing at your own pace. There are still hills and uneven ground, so choose with your fitness in mind.

Do I need to come with a group?
No. Come with a friend or come on your own. You’re welcome either way.

Do I need to tackle a longer distance?
Only if you’re prepared for it and want that challenge. The 7 km earns its own finish-line moment.

Your plan is simple:
1. Choose the distance that suits you.
2. Check the event information and enter.
3. Join us at Neethlingshof this Saturday, 31 October.

Still unsure about something? Ask us in the comments.

Ready to take your trail running a little further?

The Stellenbosch Garden Town 16 km route takes you through Neethlingshof and into Wolwedans, extending your adventure through the Bottelary Hills.

Reach the Wolwedans aid station near the Fort Simon boundary, then follow the return sections through the Neethlingshof aid station and home.

Two properties, connected into one trail journey.

Your entry includes Renosterveld flower socks from THE Socks and our huge 90 mm Garden Town finisher’s medal.

1. Choose the 16 km.
2. Enter online.
3. Join us at Neethlingshof on Saturday, 31 October 2026.
