Found a new way to get my trainers to last ✨🙌

I have lost count of the amount of trainers with holes at the toe due to the way I run, and I’ve ended up relaxing my trainers much sooner because of this!

@trainerarmour gifted me some toe patches for my trainers which I applied immediately. Super easy to apply and you don’t even notice they’re there. Plus i’ll be applying them to any new trainers to be more proactive and stop the holes entirely ✨🙌💪

If you fancy these, use the code EMILY_INTHEOUTDOORS on the trainer armour website and get a pack for only £5!

Ever worn a pair of trainers to death… but still had plenty of life left in the soles?

That was me with these Altras.
£150 shoes. Tread still solid. But the heel fabric? Torn to shreds.

I was all set to replace them until I found @trainerarmour . I was actually about to order some patches from Amazon when they reached out and offered to send me some to test. Just a short-term collab, nothing long-term, and they said to share if they worked.

Well… they’ve worked.

I’ve been out on a few runs since patching the heel holes, and I genuinely can’t feel them. No rubbing. No weird seams. No further damage. They’ve properly extended the life of these shoes.

Honestly? I just wish I’d known about them sooner. I would’ve patched them before the holes even got this bad.

They also do toe patches for people who wear through the front of their trainers (I know a few of you who do 🙃), and they are less than a tenner. Total no-brainer when shoes cost triple digits now.

My discount code is valid till the end of September if you want to try them yourself, and drops the price to just £5 - BENBUNGLETAYLOR25

Don’t bin your trainers. Patch ‘em.
