Just moving & jumping through different planes of motion, trying to maintain control & challenge proprioception. Understanding body positioning & being able to produce/absorb force under different angles of load. Then doing some sled work which increases the rate of motor neurons firing, resulting in greater power and faster force production.

Refining Mechanics, Focusing on driving the knees, & Hamstring Endurance.

Finishing with some reactionary work. Causing the lower body to recruit more motor units by forcing a higher load on the body when jumping, landing & redirecting that tension.

a little bit of speed work today after the lift. just running 6 sprints so aiming to maximize each rep with intention. focusing on low heel recovery & the transition phase.

Todays Work:

Leg Tantrums & Overspeed Jumps to prep the lower body & wake the nervous system. 2 sets

Banded Pin 1/4 Squat for the main compound lift. 6 x 2 Aiming to be explosive & incorporate triple extension. Pairing that with pistol squats for stability & working a full range of motion.

Finishing the session off with a 🔥 superset. 4 x 8-12 Toe Elevated RDL & DB Step Ups, ending with 20 yard sled push. Overloading the hamstrings & using the sleds for conditioning/40 start specificity.
