🚨 Urgent support need🚨:
Our compa Alondra is in critical need of community support to access legal representation, medical attention, and daily living neccessities. Alondra migrated from Honduras to Texas in 2022 to escape gender-based violence and discrimination. Since their arrival in the US they've faced housing and food insecurity. Alondra's community has worked hard to support her and fundraised to get her an immigration lawyer but are $2,500 behind on legal payments, and Alondra continues to be denied asylum, due in part to disability related to severe PTSD. She is now living with HIV as well and if she is detained to Honduras she will not be able to afford life-saving medical treatment.
The deadline to appeal Alondra's asylum decision is November 4th, so their friends are feeling desperate to raise funds. Any amount you can give is appreciated and please share widely! Let's stand up to the violence of the deportation machine and show solidarity with Alondra and her friends ❤️‍🔥🙏

"I am a Palestinian refugee and a trans man currently living in the U.S. I have been here for 4.5 years, and during all this time, I have not been able to see my mother, my sisters, or the people I love most. My goal is to travel to another country where I can finally reunite with my family and see them again after 4.5 years apart."

Visit the link at the top of our LinkTree to donate ! 🦋🖤 by @transasylumsupport

One of our comrades, a trans Palestinian refugee, is facing housing eviction after being unable to work since last summer due to medical issues.

After going to housing court this month, he needs to come up with $3000 by 4/24, or face increased fines of close to $12,000.

We are looking for generous donors who can support this person! Venmo @transasylumsupport and use the note “housing” when sending. by @transasylumsupport

One of our compas is looking for a new spot place to live! Strong preference for her own apartment but she is open to living with one other person as well. Maria is a late 20s trans-woman who works as a personal care assistant. She loves: kids, animals, making ceramics and music. She is primarily Spanish-speaking but understands English perfectly and is down to work across a communication gap. Looking to move anytime between now and June 1st. Please email us at tassn@proton.me with any leads. by @transasylumsupport

We stand in solidarity with this internationalist call from the territory occupied by the Cuban state. Invitation from the compas @historiadelanarquismoencuba 🏴🔥

“Internationalist Call. May 1st. Long live workers’ solidarity.

We invite all anarchist organizations, groups, and like-minded collectives who identify with, respect, and desire a life free of masters — where mutual aid and solidarity are the foundation of action — to create an exhibition of posters and graphics about the historic events of May 1st.

In different venues, social centers, libraries, and reclaimed spaces around the world — and virtually too — we seek, together and in unison, to pay tribute to the Chicago Martyrs and to all workers who fight for social emancipation, against the state and capital.

🏴 How to participate:

• Send your posters, photographs, or graphics to: ubuntusomos@proton.me

• In the subject line, write the title of your work.

• Format: JPG or PNG, 25MB max.

The images will be part of a collective exhibition projected in venues, social centers, and spaces around the world on May 1st. (Each collective can choose two posters or graphics from each country so that EVERYONE IS REPRESENTED — plus a free-download publication with that selection that can be distributed as a zine.)

Good news: Our client, “Elena”, arrived in the U.S. seeking refuge for the intense persecution she was facing in Honduras for being a trans woman, but was unlawfully detained by ICE. Elena was persecuted twice in Honduras - once by her family and then again by the government.

We worked with @transasylumsupport to have her granted a deferral of removal under the Convention Against Torture Treaty, and although our client remains detained, she is at least protected from a deportation that could cost her her life. We’re working on keeping her together with the chosen family that she has worked so hard to find safety and belonging with, here in the United States – her home.

The fight for her freedom continues, and we need your help.

This is what keeping families together looks like.
