Rest in Power to the legendary @mfdoom 🎤🍺 6 years ago today we lost one of the most creative voices in Hip-Hop. His iconic mask always inspired me to look for one of my own, then one day the right beat hit and it reminded me of something out of the original TMNT movie, specifically of Casey Jones…and at that point, the mask found me! Anyways, ima keep rocking it and tryna push the boundaries of creativity in hip-hop for DOOM! RIP & Happy Halloween 🎃 ••• #mfdoom #mmfood #caseyjones by @travis.omen
Crazy that this album dropped 25 years ago! I remember being mind-blown soon as I heard it, and ran that CD constaaantly in 2001 in my discman. Getting to compete in a competition many years later, and learning songwriting tips from @kunivad12 and @swiftymcvay was like a full circle moment. Then winning a spot on a collab record with them will always go down as a highlight in my hip-hop career. Congrats to @d12 on 25 years since this classic dropped! And go check out the new music they’re cooking up that dropped today called Detroit State of Mind, it’s fire 🔥 Have a wild Devil’s Night, everybody! ••• #D12 #DevilsNight #DetroitStateofMind by @travis.omen
