Dear Little Tressie,
One day, you’ll stop wondering if your turn is coming. You’ll stop questioning if you’re good enough. You’ll stop shrinking your dreams to fit other people’s expectations. Because one day… God is going to place you exactly where He promised.

You’ll meet a woman named @shornelll. She won’t know your story, but she’ll see something in you worth trusting.

You’ll board a plane to Italy. 🇮🇹
You’ll help tell the next chapter of one of the most iconic stories in Black cinema.

And you’ll do it as her Key Hairstylist on Tyler Perry’s Why Did I Get Married Again?
Not because you knew the right people, Not because you had the loudest voice But because God honored every unseen prayer, every sacrifice, every tear, every “not yet,” and every closed door. None of it was wasted.

Shornell… thank you. Thank you for taking a chance on me, trusting my gifts and my heart. Thank you for allowing me to help bring your vision to life. Serving as your Key Hairstylist has been one of the greatest honors of my career, and I will never forget it.

We didn’t just style hair. We built characters, Protected continuity, Honored every performance and helped tell a story the world will soon experience.

September 9 is more than a premiere date for me. It’s proof that God has never forgotten my address.

Every delay was preparation. Every closed door was protection. Every season was producing the woman this opportunity required.

Little Tressie… you can rest now. The prayer was never just to work at @tylerperrystudios . The prayer was to become the woman God could trust when the door finally opened. He answered both.

With a heart overflowing with gratitude…
God is the Greatest!❤️
P.S. Dear Little Tressie… this is only Chapter One. 🎬✨

Core Hair Team:
Jessica, Andrea, Tym (Hair for Taraji P. Henson), Traci Walker(Hair for Tasha Smith), Tiff, Jason, and Byron.
Our amazing Italy hair family… Antonella, Elena, Milena, Gianmarco, Carmelo, and Elisa.

To every core team member and Add’l Hairstylist thank you for your talent, your laughter, your trust, and your commitment to excellence.

I’m sorry whoever it offends but being an only child of a Black Woman born in Mississippi in 1951 who beat EVERY ODD THAT WAS THROWN AT HER has made me who I am! 💯✊🏾🙌🏾
