Current vibes…The Namba Yasaka Shrine (江端八尾神社), in Osaka Japan was something I had to see up close. The ferocity of the Lion head shrine didn’t disappoint. Very hot day but it was worth it! by @tri_obyte_arcana_red

I’m pleased to announce my album release, ‘Eyes Of The Ophanim,’ an experimental album fusing genres of light+dark ambient, drone, psyglitch, contemporary, avant-garde, and cinematic synthesizer music. Headphones recommended.

The @modern_sounds Pluto portable generative synthesizer is often inviting, cheerful and chirpy. However, I was quick to discover that it has a darker and more mysterious side which I aimed to uncover in this demonstration titled: 'Hydra.' Hydra is the second largest of Pluto's moons, named after the 9-headed serpent in Greek mythology and also using the letter 'H' for the Hubble Telescope used to discover it. *All sounds and effects are from the Pluto synthesizer w/no processing other than some EQ. #modernsoundspluto #plutomodular #plutosynth #spacelounge #ambient #dronemusic #synthwave #glitch #experimentalmusic #avantgarde #darkmusic #buchla #casio #sciencefiction by @tri_obyte_arcana_red

Some instruments and sequences of notes just make you feel warm inside. The @modern_sounds Pluto often does that for me. Special thanks also to @synth.toys for the lovely wooden synth stand. Pluto is both a hypnotic portal and port-able. 😺Just a few examples of what I've got so far, and it can be as beautiful and/or weird as you desire. All (3) clips are just Pluto w/only the onboard effects which can range from shimmer-freeze reverb, slightly granular. glitch delay, time delay, and micro looping. #modernsoundspluto #plutomodular #plutosynth #portablesynth #spacelounge #planetaryscience #experimentalmusic #ᴀᴍʙɪᴇɴᴛᴍᴜsɪᴄ by @tri_obyte_arcana_red

Excerpt from today's snowy improv in jamuary titled, "Davy Jones's locker." I took advantage of a beautiful snow day to explore this minimal setup. Beautiful Noises WTSE pedal is wonderfully raucous and characterful. It's placed on the DFAM. #jamuary #experimentalmusic #composer #ambientmusic #industrialmusic #plutosynth #modernsoundspluto #moogdfam #abeautifulnoise #whenthesunexplodes #bastlinstruments #softpop2 #polyeffectsbeebo #bastlbestie #jamuary2024 #electronicmusic #monomenorns #psychedelicmusic #postindustrialmusic by @tri_obyte_arcana_red

Grateful for a snowy day in Jamuary to be left to my own devices. Full improv performance titled "Davy Jones's locker." Placed an interesting pedal on the DFAM that I find both wicked and characterful. #improvisation #composer #experimentalmusic #ambientmusic #industrialmusic #welcometothespacelounge #jamuary #modernsoundspluto #modularsynth #moogdfam #abeautifulnoise #whenthesunexplodes #bastlsoftpop #polybeebo #plutosynth by @tri_obyte_arcana_red

Sunday morning synths...and coffee. Pluto is rising in my mind's eye this Jamuary. Recently picked one up, so interplanetary travel is imminent. Enjoying the playfulness of this small setup for improvisational fun. #modularsynth #analogsynth #digitalsynth #portablesynth #tinysynth #modernsoundspluto #modernsounds #plutosynth #plutomodular #semimodularsynth #eurorack #jamuary2024 #welcometospacelounge #moogdfam #bastlinstruments #softpop2 #nornsshield #monome #polybeebo #electronicmusic #improvisation #music by @tri_obyte_arcana_red

An improv. performance from my set this weekend. I did have a basic patch going on the Folktek Mescaline synth...but it rarely plays the exact same sounds even with a set patch...so it's a gamble. 😂

Opening of my live set this past weekend at Nick's International Garage Concert Series. Had a great experience! Wish I could convey the scope of the visual art going on all around me here. I call this song "Good We Are Home. Our Home Is Melting." Thanks to Nick Mellis, luminous_abstract for visuals & everyone involved! 🔥
