Oh, you like horror? Then do you even know all the words to "I Want a Monster To Be My Friend" by the Sesame Street Monsters from the 1975 novelty album A Musical Monster-osity?? Yeaah okay, didn't think so..

Juuust kidding - a lil trick and a lil treat for you on this new Vinyl Vault double feature spooktacular! Got a new blog post featuring two very different but equally Halloweenie albums from my oddities collection:

- A Musical Seance: Rosemary Brown was a pianist who conjured up hundreds of prestigious compositions, despite having no musical training. How did she do it, you may ask? Rosemary claims that each and every note has been dictated to her by the ghosts of famous composers. Read along as we discover the real story behind these ~haunting~ melodies

- Sesame Street Monsters! A Musical Monster-osity: A wholesome (and Grammy-nominated!) album that reminds us that monsters aren't actually so scary...in fact, they're a lot like us! Tune in for the catchy showtunes, stay for the life lessons

Read all about it on the newest edition of the Vinyl Vault blog series, only on T&E! 🎃

Song of the week is "Digging the Grave" by One Life All-In.

T&E blogger A. Iwasa says, "One of my favorite things in music is an out-of-genre cover. Legendary old school Clevo hardcore vocalist Don Foose covers Faith No More backed by a few fellow devotees to Lord Krishna from the Lyon, France hardcore scene."
