More, more, more artists! The new home of Roodkapje will be fully transformed next Saturday 🌟 Are you joining? Tickets through the link in bio 🀍 Samodiva SAMODIVA is a Rotterdam based collective, working at the cornerstone between club culture and interdisciplinary performance. SAMODIVA crafts immersive experiences by infusing installation art with the curation of dynamic line ups. Fostering connections and building community are focal points of the collective, which presents experimental practices to challenge the traditional club format. For this night, SAMODIVA takes over with three unmissable performances: Lui Surreal, sp3llxlocket and Neda Ruzheva (soΠΌΠ°). Triangulation Fronted by former Hamburger Communtiy resident Tisa NeΕΎa Herlec, Triangulation creates original songs, compositions that explore the themes of love, destiny, time, nature and human relations. Their backgrounds in experimental music, jazz, classical composition and theater bring about a curious blend of intuitive collective improvisation, freak folk, pop and spoken word while remaining immersive and easy to listen to. Ego-Gore by the Hamburger Community We’re closing out the Hamburger Community’s 4-act journey with the final event of this year’s residents. This journey grew out of storytelling and worldbuilding, responding to realities that were often stranger than fiction. Over the course of the year, the residents explored topics like passivity and activation, artisthood as a socio-economic class, warfare and bastardization. The last act brings everything together, marking both the close of the residents’ year and the continuation of the questions they’ve been building. by @triangulation.sounds
Triangulation is a freak-folk weave of humans, operating at the seams between storytelling, improvisation and theatrical performance. The Rotterdam-based troupe is at ease basking inside thick, engulfing atmospheres full of whimsical tension. Through the use of theatrical gestures, eerie vocal harmonies, free improv, effects, tone-rows and animal sounds (in no particular order), we conjure up themes of love, destiny, time, nature and surrealism, wrapped in an absurd narrative that devours its own tail with lust. Exciting things are happening in our little world and we cannot wait to share it with you all! @_tisa_world_ - voice/flute/text @csc_music - violin/voice @dean.monti - electric bass @frisovanwijck - percussion/voice πŸ“· @merryflop by @triangulation.sounds
