In my decision to step away from cross country, I still want to pursue my running goals. My long term goal is to complete the world marathon majors and many other bucket list races including Ironman Kona. In 2025, my aim is to knock off my first major - Boston. In order to get to Boston, I need to run a qualifying time (under 3:00 for my age group). However, because of the competitive nature of Boston, I really need to be under 2:50 to be safe - which I believe is more than possible for me to achieve. With my current timeline of school and where my fitness is at right now, I chose a few races to get me ready and to ultimately qualify for Boston. Beginning in January, I plan to run a local half with my buddies at my goal marathon pace to see what it will feel like. In March, I will race the Berry Half, to get ready for my marathon. In April, I will make my first attempt at qualifying for Boston - the Rock n’ Roll Marathon race series in Nashville. Content for the next few months will mostly consist of following my training and using this platform as accountability. Along side running, I aim to be a more well rounded athlete. This means I will attempt to add plenty of lifting, body weight circuits, and swimming to my workout rotation. Boston 2025 here we come. by @triathlon_jack
Sunday, May 21st. The city is under the water. The national guard is coming. Martial law is in effect, but the criminal element never sleeps. Looting and lawlessness will be rampant... in the parts of the city, no one can get to. I can already see things will get worse... before they get better. And some will seize the chance to grab everything they can. I'm starting to see now I have had an effect here... But not the one I intended. Vengeance, won’t change the past. Mine… or anyone else’s. I have to become more. People need hope. To know someone’s out there for them. This city's angry, scarred. Like me. Our scars can destroy us. even after the physical wounds have healed. But if we can survive them... They can transform us. They can give us the power. To Endure... And the strength to fight. 🏊🏻‍♂️ 31:19 T1 4:29 🚴🏻‍♂️ 2:36:39 T2 3:55 🏃🏻‍♂️ 1:34:23 ⏱️ 4:50:43 by @triathlon_jack

Hey Instagram. Sorry for the lack of content; I have not been in the creative mood for video making. BUT, I still have been having a lot of fun this semester and Jesus has been teaching me a lot about himself, me, and how to love others better. Here are some of the fun highlights from the semester: I started the fall season on a very hilly course for the Miracle Mile (pic 3) with an 18:54 equivalent (course was a little short). Then I ran Allison Everett (pic 2)on the same course, where I met some new friends and ran a 19:03 equivalent. Most recently, after a lot of workouts and consistent training I ran the ragtag autumn dash (pic 1) where I dropped a blistering 16:58 (on my watch) or a 17:03 (official clock time) on a fast course this weekend to run my 4th fastest 5k ever which was sickkk. Also this weekend I threw a 376 foot ace in disc golf (pic 4) which was arguably even cooler. I know there’s only a few of you that read this far, so hello thank you for reading! Fun fact, me and @breestraight have 2 victories in 5ks together this semester (Hoyas Represent) Also super mega shoutout to @ella._martin_ and Ryan for pushing me so hard this semester in running and always spurring me on in my relationship with Jesus! They are the best girlfriend and roommate (respectively) to ever exist!! by @triathlon_jack
