A little glimpse into our time at Conscious Growth Convergence! 🙏🏾🤙🏾

Sharing a moment from our performance of “Blessed Case Scenario” — a song, a story, and a collective experience brought to life by everyone who showed up and participated.

Much love & gratitude to @sagedaly our liaison, for all her efforts, care, and coordination in helping bring everything together!

Big ups to @ashley.bonn of @cascadia.culture and Ben from @revivalgatherings Gathering Café for creating space for us to share our gifts!

And a mighty shout-out to the gifted musicians who helped bring this song to life:

🎻 @elion_truth_heart — Violin
🪘 @codyshepherdmusic — Cajón
🎸 @jordy.nary — Bass
🎸 @altorremusic — Lead Guitar

And to all the Kinfolk in the audience who lent their voices, energy, and presence to this story — YOU were part of the music, not just witnesses to it.

A BIG MAHALOLUJAH to my partner @oliveiaahh for capturing and preserving such a beautiful moment in time through this archival footage. A memory we can revisit, relive, and share with generations to come! 🫶🏾

These are the moments that remind me why we gather, why we sing, and why we continue telling our stories.

Blessed Case Scenario, indeed!

Gifted & Lifted! 🙏🏾🤙🏾

A little song, echoing through the evening. 🌙🎶

Trill Lebeau, somewhere between soul and folk, guitar in hand and heart on his sleeve. Jorge keeping the rhythm on djembe, Susanna’s violin weaving through the spaces between notes.

A room full of souls, a little low light, and music that invites you to turn inward.

It was only the sound check. The first song of a long night. Even a four-legged friend found their way into the moment. 🐾

There’s something beautiful about these fleeting gatherings — where music, people, and the world around us become part of the same song.

A small echo of something bigger.

🌊 WE PLEDGE ALLEGIANCE TO YO FLOW 🌊

“Grandmama, she said all the jackals howl the same… and so this is how we sing.”

🎶 We pledge allegiance to the flow,
Great Sacred Mama Water, carriers of H₂O.
We pledge allegiance to the flow,
Great Sacred Mama Water, carriers of H₂O. 🎶

A sacred moment captured during the closing of one of my original songs, “While a Man’s Being Honest,” at Conscious Growth Convergence.

An offering of reverence to the sacred Mama water carriers. To the mothers who held us in the waters of their wombs, nurturing life before we ever took our first breath. Before we knew the rivers, the rains, or the oceans, we knew the waters of our mothers.

Giving thanks to the waters that sustain us, the mothers who carried us, the ancestors who guide us, and the sacred currents that connect us all. 💧

There's something powerful about sharing a song and witnessing it become something greater than ourselves through the voices, hearts, and presence of our kinfolk.

Much love & gratitude to @sagedaly, our liaison, for all her efforts, care, and coordination in helping bring everything together!

Big ups to @ashley.bonn of @cascadia.culture and Ben from @revivalgatherings Gathering Café for creating space for us to share our gifts!

And a special MAHALOLUJAH to my beloved Olivia for capturing and preserving such a beautiful moment in time.

To every soul who sang, listened, danced, and participated in this story — you are part of the song.

May we never forget that we are water, and water is life.

With love from the flow. 🌊

Life Update 🙏🏾

PSA — for clarity & transparency

I unequivocally and categorically deny any and all allegations made against me.

For additional context, the allegations originated with a former partner from approximately 12 years ago, when I was 22. Years after that relationship, in 2020, I was blindsided by unfounded and baseless allegations that were brought into the public sphere.

The allegations were addressed publicly and privately through legal counsel.

For absolute clarity: there were no official reports, no charges, and no criminal or court proceedings arising from these allegations. There were none then, and there are none now.

This was never a criminal or court matter. The situation was addressed privately through legal counsel in 2020, while I also publicly addressed what was being said about me and provided information supporting my position.

What played out publicly was a trial by social media — and it had very real, in-real-life impacts. During that time, my family and I survived racially motivated death threats.

To protect myself and my loved ones, cease-and-desist notices were issued regarding statements I maintained were defamatory, and I took appropriate steps through counsel to protect myself, my family, my name, and my reputation.

Today, I stand in truth, integrity, and accountability — supported by a strong community and organizations I’ve built, maintained, and continue to sustain.

Moving forward with clarity, purpose, and peace.

Thursday Night I came across a gentlemen around a fire. He held himself with a self respect and a stature that I see in few and know from myself. He spoke using strong words in an old timey and poetic way of principles and philosophy. He was a melinated brother and I felt as thought I was peeing into a mirror. After a few tunes around a fire he extended an invite I am select to extend for my sets. Though honored, I was slow to accept the invite until a good friend mentioned "OH, Tril!? He's one of my absolute Favorites! Right next to you! To see both of you on stage together would be amazing!" I said "Okay, then. I'll do it."

I'm so glad I did. by @trill_lebeau_
