Tonight isn’t just another night behind the decks. It’s a celebration of seven years of music, dance floors, memories, and a home that has become such a massive part of our journey.

Being a resident at MUUD means something different when you get to share that booth with people who have become part of the story.

My brother Claude, alongside Aeska and Terminus. Four residents, four different sounds, one home.

Tonight we celebrate everything that came before us, every dance floor we’ve destroyed together, and everything still waiting on the other side of 7.

Happy 7th birthday, MUUD. taken in And by @ventervisuals.jpeg

I don’t play music, I give people a moment they’ll remember for the rest of their lives. Every beat is a piece of my soul, every drop carries the battles I’ve survived. I wasn’t born to simply follow the rhythm, I was born to create it.

For the sixteenth edition of the Underground Africa Podcast Series, we’re excited to invite Johannesburg’s Troix Friction.

A resident of MUUD and Khaos, his sound moves through hypnotic techno, dub-heavy textures, hard groove and driving percussion, always with a focus on depth, tension and movement.

Having played across some of Johannesburg’s most important underground spaces and parties, Troix Friction brings that same darker, immersive energy into this latest mix.

The podcast is available to stream now on SoundCloud. by @ventervisuals.jpeg
