Market life for 2026 is over🍂
A short but very sweet season. Thank you for all the talks, reccomendations, new friends and patronages🖤
For our last huzza we brought our new family member, Pippi, who I dare say got more attention than our wares. And we are quite all right with that❤️‍🔥
Thank you @gjallarstadirvikinglag

See you at markets 2027!

✨️Introduction post✨️
Who is Trollkista? Mainly Teddy and Ivy, two nerds who can't stop creating.
Teddy is our resident knifemaker and whittler, tag @thefuzzyteddy , an arts and crafts teacher with a passion for history.
And
Ivy our jewellery maker, tag @ihadraplantmum , with Jurneyman letters in both Goldsmithing and Teatre Costume making.

Often we are joined by Teddy's mother, also an arts and crafts teacher, who does the beautiful glass creatins.

Maybe more will join?! Only time and the huldr know✨️

At Gjallarstadir i met a lovely little costumer with a huge fox-fascination. And they wanted a little brother to their wood-fox. So i made the smallest fox-figurine i've made thus far (with my largest)
What impresses me most is that no knife-accidents were made 🤣

The last of my circle plates with circle designs is here (and a single pair of bent wire design).
This time it's separates for pearl strings commonly worn with a viking garb with "Skålspenner".
I had so much fun making these pieces I'm pretty sure I'll make more of these designs. (If they sell well).

🔹️925 sterling silver
🔹️Glass beads bought from various markets through the years

A lovely couple approached us at a market last year to get a pair of very special knives comissioned. They were awaiting their first child and wanted a viking knife for the father and a "first knife" for their new family member. Truly a special task that we loved to bring to life☀️

🔸️Big knife: blade is selfmade, grinded from a planer-steel tool. Bolster and butt cast in bronze, moose antler and colored oak handle. Leather and brass sheath
🔸️Small one: Søndrål blade.Silver bolster and maple wood handle. Leather with engraved silver details on the sheath.
