First Hyrox in the books .. Here are my 5 takeaways⬇️

1.) When Mikey says he’s out of shape , he’s actually quite literally in great shape and you better be ready to fly

2.) please don’t become a viral reel for the wrong reasons

3.) man I should have trained for this , thank god I have an aerobic base still

4.) suffering is still fun

5.) when’s the next one? by @troysharm

Don’t know where you’re at , but I know where you ought to be 📍 by @troysharm

Life isn’t about how successful you are or how many wins you’ve had , it’s about what happens when you’ve failed & how you respond.

I’m a walking, living testimony of someone who’s failed more times than I can count ..But something I take pride in is always getting back up and going again

Trust the process, the struggle is shaping the person you're becoming 📸 by @troysharm

You don’t rise to the level of your goals .. You fall to the level of your systems ❌

Today marks 1,000 days alcohol free .. it’s crazy to look back at where we started and where we are now.

Feeling the best I’ve ever felt mentally & physically.

Labour Day Classic With My Guy 👊 by @troysharm

This woman never missed a chance to be at either of our hockey games growing up , happy 90th to our biggest cheerleader in life #grandmasboys by @troysharm

One thing I’ve been thinking about lately is growth and the fact that it is lumpy & not linear.

When you think about where you are and real progress, it’s rarely a straight line.

Results of hundreds of ordinary days where you keep showing up.

Don’t judge your future by your current momentum , judge it by the direction you’ve been travelling over the last few years . by @troysharm

I don't think there's much more satisfying than going to war with yourself & coming out on top 😈 by @troysharm

Well that was different.. went into this race not knowing much about the course , just wanted to move the body and have some fun in a competitive space again.

Talking to coach @emilysetlack we knew the day was gonna be humid but we had no idea that every km was going to be an incline mixed with humidity and head winds - mix those 3 & you got yourself a dog fight..

Scary moment at 11kms into the race , a woman who was pacing with me passed out from the heat and the hills; with nobody around I felt I had to stay with her until I knew she was okay.. a bit off the goal time but worth it.

Finished the day with a 1:36 chip time 🏁- and honestly that’s good enough for me today.. The one thing about running that gets me every time is people helping people and that’s what we did today.

Onward 🤘 by @troysharm

The thing about running that I love most is the fact it is me vs my mind & the challenge of trying to eliminate that voice in my head

the one that is constantly trying to negotiate when things start to hurt or get tough.

It’s me vs me , and one of us has to lose
