October, you’ve been beautifully dramatic. 🍂🧡

A little moody, a little mysterious, and just the right touch of Halloween magic. 🎃✨

Burnt orange tones, romantic roses, exotic orchids, and dramatic shadows — bringing the beauty of autumn to life, one bloom at a time.

Who says Halloween has to be spooky when it can be this chic? 🧡🌸

And here it is…the Terrace, post glow up.

This went from an all brown blah of a space to a fully functional outdoor garden room. This makeover is proof that you don’t need to start from scratch to completely transform a space. I kept much of what she already had and built around it, layering in softness, texture, and a little bit of color.

The ivy filled trellises changed everything. They created a dynamic backdrop and sense of enclosure that made the whole space feel more intimate. The additional seating, rug and the neutral seat cushions all help to make this feel cohesive and inviting. No longer the poor stepsister, the terrace now feels like it’s an extension of the apartment.

You’ll want to stay tuned to hear my client’s reaction upon seeing this! It’s a doozy! And if you’re thinking about planning or refreshing your own outdoor space this season, reach out to me for a quick virtual session. Just a little guidance will help you fast track your own haven. by @trublooms_nyc

One of the greatest assets of this apt was undoubtedly its outdoor space (a major selling point in NYC), and this was one sad and sorry sight when first we met. If the inside was The House of Flowers, the outside said Welcome to Browntown: brown deck, brown walls and brown outdoor furniture. Something had to be done.

I used what she already had (I know, shocking!), and added a couple of club chairs, an outdoor rug, new neutral cushions and most importantly, many panels of ivy woven into trellis to provide a soft and green backdrop for her furniture. It was surprisingly affordable to do (stock trellis at Home Depot) and highly impactful. Et voila…an outdoor garden room that stands up to meet her House of Flowers.

Doing this under the gun was a “challenge” to say the very least, but…what a payoff! Just wait until you hear what came out of the client’s mouth when she saw it. 🤣

If you’re on the verge of doing an outdoor refresh, in the city or in the country, make sure you join my broadcast channel Refinds of the Day. I’m dropping all my curated picks next week so you can get this look, or your version of it, without the guesswork or the splurge. Comment CHANNEL for an invite. by @trublooms_nyc

There’s something magical about a long table, candlelight, and flowers that feel effortlessly beautiful. 🌸✨

For this intimate dinner in the private room at La Bar Penelope,we designed delicate clusters of peonies and garden blooms in soft pinks to create a romantic, modern tablescape that lets conversation (and the wine) flow all night.

Sometimes the smallest arrangements make the biggest impact.

A touch of violet in a timeless setting 💜

We had the pleasure of creating these moody, romantic florals for a recent event at the historic Lotos Club on 66th Street. From delicate lavender roses to dramatic purple vanda orchids and soft amethyst plumes, every detail was designed to complement the rich textures and old-world charm of this stunning space.

Swipe to see how we brought elegance and depth to the room with layered florals on the mantel and intimate arrangements for the cocktail tables.

We had the sweetest time designing and fully planning this gorgeous baby shower for our dear client. Embracing her vision of A Little Pumpkin is On The Way, we elevated the theme with our take on a chic, modern twist—perfectly girly and oh-so-glamorous. Every detail was crafted with love, from the custom toile print to the delicate scent of pumpkin spice in the air, to our linen selections for our table scape. Our carefully chosen color palette featured rich, opulent shades of pink with shimmering touches of gold, creating a dreamy, elegant atmosphere fit for a little pumpkin princess 🤍
