Everyone thinks opening a studio means drinking matcha, wearing matching sets, and teaching packed classes of advanced practitioners while raking in the money.

➡️ In reality, nobody warns you how much time you spend cleaning floors, fixing everything from the toilet to the machines, juggling bills, and managing instructors all in between teaching classes, and doing payroll and social media at midnight.

➡️ I condensed over 100 clips from a single day running both spaces into 5 minutes. No aesthetic filter, or performative exercises, just the actual work.

➡️If you’ve ever wanted to know what keeping the doors open really takes, watch the whole thing.

🤝To every business owner in the trenches: I see you. Drop a comment if this is what your "dream job" looks like too.

P.S. I wouldn't have it any other way.

anyone else as obsessed with Liforme as me???? 😍

#yogamat #yoga #yogaflow #yogi #yogagram by @true_definition_yoga

the answer is ⬇️
...
NEITHER!

Both are great! Same pattern of movement, different different benefits!
➡️On the mat, we work against gravity to strengthen the outer hips and build pelvic stability.
➡️On the reformer, adding spring resistance challenges those muscles differently, recruits the inner thighs, but you are assisted on the way up. ➡️Both help us build stronger, more stable hips, both recruit core and both remind us that with Pilates, the possibilities are endless!

QUESTION YOUR QUESTIONS! 🤔

I'm all for a good conspiracy theory and yet since critical thinking is imperative for a yoga mind, we can benefit from even questioning our questions!!!

Being the instructor doesn’t mean I stop being the beginner🤎

Tried anti-gravity yoga at @true_definition_yoga and gave myself permission to figure it out along the way.

That’s why I love working with beginners—I know how loud your thoughts can get before you try something new. But you don’t have to be good to start. You get better by showing up.
