Ryan Barry is no newcomer to the TLT stage. He was last seen in Tryon Little Theater's production of The Game’s Afoot as Felix Geisel, The Best Little Whorehouse In Texas as The Bandleader, and Pump Boys and Dinettes. He also appears on state for Spartanburg Little Theatre, and Center Stage. In this show, "12 Angry Jurors", he is the foreman of the selected jury debating a murder case.

His character isn't dominating, but facilitating - often diplomatic and cautious, showing a willingness to listen, and give everyone a voice. It's a challenging responsibility for a foreman, but he remains a steady presence, reminding the jurors of their duty.

Come see Ryan in action! The show runs November 12-15, and November 19-22, at the TLT Workshop Theater in Tryon. Tickets are $25, and $15, and are available by calling 828-859-2466, or you can visit www.tltinfo.org. #courtroom #trial #GuiltyOrNotGuilty #drama #supportlocalcommunitytheater #clearevidence #12angryjurors #Tryonlittletheater #reasonabledoubt by @tryonlittletheater

Gathering around, looking at some evidence, and listening to a juror's reasoning, the "12 Angry Jurors" are getting frustrated, tired, and sometimes confused. It's a process they have to go through to come to a unanimous verdict - and the pressure is greater when a person's life is at stake.

Juror #12, played by Thomas Meredith, is one of the "12 Angry Jurors" in TLT's production opening November 12, at the Tryon Little Theater Workshop. Tom has previously performed at several community theaters in the central Florida area and some of his most memorable roles include Frank Gianelli in Over the River and Through the Woods, Inspector Hubbard in Dial M for Murder, King Henry II in The Lion in Winter and Teddy in Arsenic and Old Lace. This is Tom’s first play since relocating to the Spartanburg area in 2025.
Tom plays an advertising executive who struggles to stay engaged with the task at hand, despite this pensive-looking head-shot! Although likable, he is flippant and flighty, fickle and indecisive. However, we see his character shift during the deliberations as he realizes the importance of his civic duty.

Juror #3 (Doug Sparks) and Juror #4 (Brenda Craig) are off in the corner getting water after a difficult confrontation between jury members. But the conversation isn't refreshing.
"...where does he get off calling me a public avenger, and a sadist, and everything? Anybody in his right mind would blow a stack...he was just trying to bait me."

Juror #5 in "12 Angry Jurors", is played by Hillary MacArthur. TLT is so happy to have her back after her debut performance for TLT as Gwendolyn in "The Importance of Being Earnest". She is used to playing women with strong opinions and questionable judgement, she says, although in this play her character is quiet and observant until the challenges she has faced in her own life give her the courage to show how tough she really is.

The elderly Juror #9, played by Bruce Jayne, offers quiet wisdom throughout the deliberations in the Jury room. His age and experience give him a unique perspective that some of the other jurors may lack. Everyone has something to say, but his quiet voice of reason always offers substance and compassion.
